When the dreams started they were subtle and everytime i would dream, "which was basically everytime i'd fall asleep" i'd dream about him, but it was like he was hiding his face from me on purpose for some reason.
I googled "unknown man in my dreams" to see what i could find and i came across some pretty interesting stuff, though i won't lie some of it was kinda scary, creepy scary, i learned quickly that google likes to be thorough.
Anyways, one of the articles said the stranger in my dreams could be a projection of myself, being that he seems to always know what makes me smile, that & because he never shows his face, the article said that could be because my subconscious is hiding the fact that it's me, because if i knew it was myself, the feeling of being wanted, of being cared for, the connection of feeling like somebody wants me would dissolve like powder in water because the thought that it was someone else was what made the connection so strong.
I didnt really care for that one, but it made sense and i couldn't just over look it, but i kept researching for more answers, particularly one that would show me something i wanted to see.
Finally I came across something good, it was an article about astro project and somehow it connected to me.
There was a section of the article that talked about how to become aware while in your own dream, how to control the outcome of events, or simply just control the entire dream itself.
I took notes, i took alot of notes and began to practice over and over again until I could control my dream, & confront the unknown man once and for all.
