Broken Without You

Chapter 11

Shivam: It is a story of 10th standard of his. I was in 12th. All was very good, we had lot friends and our cousin brother of the same age of Ritvik, his name was Ishaan. Ritvik had a girl best friend, Kiara. He had a little crush on her which he thought at that age love. Actually he never loved her but he thought that. I never believed that girl. I knew something was wrong in her but he did not listen to me. Kiara never allowed Ritvik, even as his best friend, to touch her not even on her hands. Ritvik decided one day to propose her. As he went he saw Ishaan proposing Kiara. She said 'yes' and they kissed. Ritvik was broken.

Ishaan: I thought you love Ritvik, but I am happy that you love me.

Kiara: Oh Ritvik! Never, he was not even my friend. I was just using him coz he was very humble and very stupid. And of course he is so fool that he trusts everyone easily.

Ritvik was so much broken. As Ishaan knew that he "so called love Kiara". Even his brother did wrong to him. Ishaan came to knew about his sadness but never cared. One day Ritvik went to Kiara and asked her about them. She said, "so what I love him and yes I was using u and I think u are so unlucky for everyone. And I think your parents even are dead bcoz of you. You should be killed." She tortured him. It was so much that one day he tried to commit suicide. But thank god Yash was there with him. Only he could retain his sadness, his anger. Yash seriously you are a very loving friend indeed. And after that many girls proposed Ritvik but he never trusted any. That's why he was shy being with any new people. But Shanaya, after you have come he has literally changed a lot. Thanks sister.

Yash: It is my duty being a friend bhaiya.

Shanaya: No problem jiju, he is my best friend and I will never betray him.

Shivam: I really hope he becomes better.

Next morning, Shanaya went to wake up Ritvik. He was sleeping.

Shanaya: Bandar, get up we need to go to college.

Ritvik: 2 minutes more!

Shanaya gets some water and splash.

Ritvik: Rabbit you here, and what's this?

Shanaya: The only way to wake you up. Get ready and come. We are going to college.

They went to the college and met Kavya and Yash.

Yash: I hope you are fine.

Ritvik: Yeah!

They went to the class.

Teacher: Students we are going to Singapore for a trip. So be ready on Thursday at 11 am.

All went out of the class. Shanaya was happy and excited but Ritvik was a bit nervous.

Shanaya: What happened Bandar? Aren't you excited?

Ritvik: I am leaving! (he left)

Shanaya: What happened to him? I think I should go! (she ran behind)

Yash: (to Kavya) I know what has happened, come with me Kavya.

Ritvik reached home and straightway went to his room. Shanaya who was following him also went after. Shivam and Tanisha had gone to their office so didn't know about their return.

Shanaya: Open the door Ritvik. I want to talk to you. Why are u so tensed and nervous?

Yash reached there. 

Yash: Shanaya wait, I know what has happened listen to me. Ishaan and Kiara had shifted to Singapore. So I think he does not want to go there and face them. They have already destroyed his life a lot. Now even I don't want.

Shanaya: Call Shivam jiju right now. I want to talk to him.

Yash called Shivam. He reached there with Tanisha.

Shivam: Yes Shanaya, bolo kyu bulaya aur Ritvik kaha h?

Shanaya: Jiju hum logo ko college me Singapore trip pr le jaa rhe h. agar Ritvik ko nhi jaana toh bol de na. He should not lock himself for this. And one more thing, Yash told me about Ishaan and Kiara that they are in Singapore. But I think now he should face them. Kab tk aise rota rhega ya depressed rhega.

Shivam: I think you are right. If you can explain him then it will be okk.

Shanaya: Gate toh band hai I will go through the window. (she reached inside and saw Ritvik, he was shocked)

Ritvik: Who called you inside and I don't want anyone to explain me anything. Just go outside.

Shanaya: (in mind) when I was very small my mom used to calm my anger by kissing me on my cheeks and caressing my hair, should I do that?) (she went near him and did. Ritvik was shocked and his anger flew away) You know na I told u yesterday u are my best friend and I can't see my bestfriend like this then why are you behaving. See don't you think kii hmesha problems se kyu bhagna, kabhi kabhi problems face bhi toh karna chahiye. Aur kisne kaha tu bad luck hai, tu toh mera good luck hai. (she realised what she said) vo....vo....vo I mean mera dii ka jiju ka Yash ka, right? (blushed) chl abb Singapore jaate hai aur Ishaan aur Kiara ko muh pe bol ke aate hai kii tu koi bad luck nhi h tu toh good luck hai, haina?

Ritvik: haa! (in mind- yaar she is so good but Kiara bhi toh meri best friend thi usne bhi toh sirf mera use kra, par ye sbse alag h) chl abb khaana kha lete hai mujhe bhook lagi h.

They both go outside. All were shocked kii Ritvik khushi khushi Singapore jaa rha h! 

Shivam: Tu pakka jaa rha hai?

Ritvik: Haa bhaiya! Mai jaa rha hu aur mujhe koi problem nhi h.

Yash: (whispering with Kavya) Oh bhai, ye sab kaise ho rha h? ye ladka ek ladki kii baat maan rha h. Shanaya yaar ise chordh ke mt jaana vrna......

Kavya: Shut up Yash. Pyaar krne wale chordh ke thodi jaate h.

Yash: Pyaar krne.. (cut by Shanaya) 

Shanaya: Apna romance baad me kr lena dono abhi dinner kr lo.

Yash and Kavya went to their homes. In Shivam and Tanisha's room,

Shivam: Yaar they both look so good together, I hope Shanaya keeps him happy. Baby don't you think they love each other.

Tanisha: I can't tell about Ritvik, but I feel the case in Shanaya's case.

Shivam: Maybe Ritvik also but due to his past he won't believe anybody easily.

Tanisha: Did you have any girlfriend or not?

Shivam:........ what will he say?
