*3rd person pov*

After a million games of Uno it was
finally time for Alice and her friends to go to bed. Alice got up off the floor, her friends went to different rooms but a part of her wanted to check on them.

*Alice's pov*

I decided to go check on the most important person to me first. JD. my sister and partner in crime. I walked to our room. Yes we share a room. I slowly opened the door and saw that she was asleep at her desk. I smiled slightly. My sister is really hardworking, at least I think she is. I grabbed my father's jacket and put it over my sister's shoulders then I lightly kissed her the cheek.

"Love you sis. Good night" I shut off the light and closed the door behind me.

*Time skip*

Next was my bestfriend Miles. I knew he would probably still be up because of his phobia of sleeping but I'll try to help him. I walked into the kitchen and saw Miles sitting at the table, he was on the phone with his Dad.

"Is Molly okay without me? Yes Dad I know I need to stop worrying so much but I can't help it. Okay. I understand. Bye Dad...Love you. What!? I said nothing! Bye!" He then ended the call with his Dad and looked over at me.

"Hi bro." I said waving slightly.

"How's JD?" He said with a slight blush on his cheeks.

I rolled my eyes and said "She's fine but what about you?"

"Why do you care? You act like don't around other people or does my happiness now somehow now drive you into despair" He with a smug smile.

"No. I came to check on you because you're my bestfriend" I said.

"Wow. You've never called me that before"

"Yeah. Yeah. Now come on"

*Time skip*

I had finally gotten Miles to sleep. It took a very long time but I did it. I put a energy drink on table for him for when he wakes. I then got up off the couch and kissed him on the forehead.

"Goodnight Miles" I smiled as I walked off.

*Time skip*

The last person to check on tonight was Elijah. I usually act like I hate him and sometimes I do but he's still my friend, For some reason. I opened the door to the guest bedroom.

"Hey. You up?" I said.

"Yeah. What's up?" He said.

"Wow. You aren't flirting with me" I replied.

"I don't have enough energy to flirt with you. Dumbass" he said.

"Whore"

"Bitch"

"Slut"

This usually happens when ever me and Elijah talk. We just start insulting for no reason.

*Time skip. Miles Pov*

It was 6:00am. I got up and saw that Alice had left a monster energy drink for me. I smiled and then I went to check on Elijah. Why? I don't know. I opened the door and saw that Elijah had his arm around Alice and JD was leaning on him.

"Hey. You trying to get with my girlfriend and my bestfriend" I said quietly so that I didn't wake up JD or Alice.

"First of all. JD is technically not your girlfriend and second of all, I'm not into that" Elijah replied.

I walked over to where my friends were laying. Now I was sitting next Elijah while JD was leaning on my shoulder and Alice was leaning on Elijah's shoulder. I began to fall asleep and so did Elijah.

*Time skip and Alice's Pov*

I opened my eyes and saw a note and that a blanket was over me,JD,Miles and Elijah. I picked up the note and read it. It  turned that my older sister Sarah had come home and saw us here sleeping so she left us a blanket. Thanks sis. I looked over at my friends and smiled for  once In didn't feel overwhelming despair. For once my life I felt hope. I smiled and went back to sleep.
