Chapter One; Flight
"We're going where? I don't think I heard you correctly", asks the short haired, middle aged man. The longer haired, giant of a person looks at his shorter brother with an amused expression on his face.
"You heard me, Dean. I didn't stutter."
"No, Sam, please repeat what you said. It sounded like you said we're going to London. That means we would have to fly. Fly, Sammy."
"Dean, it's just flying. Quit whining and get over it."
"Coming from the one who is terrified of clowns." Sam opened his mouth and shut it just as quick.
"Just pack your bags, Dean. There's been a string of murders."
"Yeah, so? It could just be some idiot who missed an episode of Doctor Who or whatever."
"Dean, there's been reported signs of demonic activity. I know this is a little out of our boundaries-
"A LITTLE OUT? This...this is a whole other stadium we're talking about."
"Okay. it's a-lotta-bit out of our boundaries, but still. This is our kind of thing."
"Sammy, you know how I feel about flying.." Sam rolls his eyes.
"Why don't we just call your boyfriend?"
“My what?" Dean asks with a bemused expression on his face.
"Cas, Dean. Call Cas."
"It sounded like you said 'my boyfriend' for a second there, Sam"
"Maybe you should get your ears checked." Dean shoots a glare at his younger brother and turns around. "CAS! Get your feathery ass down here!"
"Hello Dean. I do not understand the hostility. Have I wronged you?." Dean whirls around to see his dark haired trench coat clad friend standing there. "Hey Cas" say the two brothers almost in unison. Cas still has a puzzled expression on his face.
" I still do not understand. Why the hostility? You could have politely asked me to come." Dean thought to himself "Damn, Cas is cute when he's clueless... wait... why did I just think that?!" Dean shakes his his head.
"Cas, we need you to take us to London. There's been a string of murders that is too great for us to ignore." "London?", asks the angel, "I hear they have excellent tea."
"Cas, focus."
"Oh. Sorry." Cas puts his hands on the brother's shoulders. With a sound of fluttering, they are gone.
