You are sitting at the lunch table with Hermione, Harry and Ron. You are studying really hard for the Care of Magical Creatures exam that week and you really want to pass it. You are flipping through the pages of the book while you hear Ron's loud munching next to you. Hermione is helping you study by once in a while, asking you questions about it. You take a deep breath because you feel that you are going to snap if Ron continues eating loudly. You start to fidget with the bracelet that Hermione got you last Christmas. It had an adorable elephant engraved on the charm because that was your favorite animal. They remind you of intelligence and because they are just adorable. You start reading and reading the same sentence because you keep on losing focus. You start to get stressed and you close the book abruptly.
Ron jumped and said, "Bloody hell! You scared me!"
You rubbed your temple with your fingers because that always seemed to relax you. "Sorry, I'm just really stressed and I can't focus right now," you said.
"You should eat. It always relaxes me," Ron said, going for his second chicken leg.
Harry rolled his eyes and he said, "Just take a little break and then you can continue."
"Alright, I guess a little lunch break wouldn't hurt," You said. Hermione was looking worriedly at you because you know that she doesn't like to take breaks when studying. You look down at your plate and you start eating the chicken and the bread. You feel the flavors of the food and it really does relax you. You continue eating as Hermione reaches for your book. You let her take it because you don't want to deal with that right now. You feel chicken juice going down the side of your mouth and you hurriedly get a napkin and wipe it off.
"Slow down, y/n. You might choke if you continue eating like that," Hermione said.
You chuckled and you nodded. You took a deep breath and you decided that it was too much food for you anyways. You look at Hermione and you see that she is reading the pages in your Care of Magical Creatures book really fast. You wait for what she is going to say and you hear footsteps coming next to you. You turn and you see Fred and George coming. You immediately get butterflies in your stomach at the sight of George. You rapidly turn back and stare at Hermione. Hermione doesn't know yet which is odd because you always tell her everything. You just didn't want anyone to tease you about it. Fred and George start coming towards the table and they stop right next to Ron.
"Hey Fred and George," Harry said. You looked at Harry and he was waving at them. You turn to look at Fred and George and you decide to wave at them both. You try not to make eye contact with George because you don't want to feel butterflies in your stomach. Ron, holding his chicken, turns to his brothers and says hello with a mouthful of food.
"Charming, Ronald. Hi boys," Hermione said with disgust at Ron. You smiled because Hermione always calls him Ronald. Well, not all the time but only she can call her that. It is like their thing.
"Hello friends. Got some space for us?" Fred asked.
Harry nodded and he motioned next to you. "There's a space next to y/n and there is one next to me. Take your pick," Harry said. You wanted to physically facepalm yourself. You looked up at George and Fred because they are practically giants to everyone. George looks at you in the eyes and there goes that butterfly feeling again. You demand yourself not to blush but you feel this rush of heat going to your face. George does a slight smile and you look at Fred.
"I'm going to sit next to Harry because we have to talk about the Quidditch game we are going to do with Ravenclaw next Tuesday," Fred said. He starts to walk around the table and he start to go towards Harry. He sits down and they do a high five.
