"Reiko~Chan!"
Reiko turned back as she heard her name being called, only to be met with a familiar, injured skateboarder. She snickered, stopping in her tracks and waiting for him to catch up.
"Takemi! What happened this time?" She asked, tilting her head a bit. She looked up at him, standing on her tippy-toes and cupping up face. Yep... these were new bandages. "Did you fall again?" She inspected the rest of his body.
Takemi shook his head, pausing for a moment before shamefully nodding. "Um... yeah. I kinda did," he scratched his head. "I know, I know... I should be more careful— and I am! Well, I'm trying at least."
Reiko sighed, shaking her head and pulling away. "You're dumb, you know that?" She poked his cheek, pinching it afterward and laughing. "Clumsy too... be careful. Really. You'll get a concussion..." She reached up to pat his head, barely able to do so. She was so short compared to him..
"I know! I knooww..!!" Takemi sighed out of frustration, laughing a bit afterward. Reiko had always been so protective over Takemi, even if she was a bit childish and careless herself. She took his hands, squeezing at them and smiling.
"Don't get mad at me.. now, come on. Let's go home so we can do our homework!" Reiko said, turning around and tugging on his hand. She walked with him to his house, not wanting to go to hers that day.
