Chapter 2 - GOLDEN

Sunday, 25th October 2020

"Oh my God!! Mia! Come here! Hurry!" I called through the house. I think she was in the kitchen chatting with my mother again. The two got along great, which I also thought was great, but sometimes my mom really got Mia involved. She then just disappears for an hour or two and when I ask her where she has been she always replies: "Downstairs." . That can be really annoying.

When she got to my place I took my cell phone from the bed (I put it there so it couldn't fall off) and turned it with shaky hands so that she could see the screen. As expected, I dropped it. She picked it up from the floor, examined it briefly for damage and then focused on the reason I was trembling. Harry had answered me. YES HARRY FUCKIN STYLES! THE HOT, MEGA FAMOUS AND TALENTED SINGER FROM ENGLAND! THAT WONDERFUL MAN WHO PROBABLY SAVED ME FROM DEATH! THAT I HAVE TO THANK FOR MY WHOLE LIFE! WHO MEANED SO MUCH TO ME! EXACTLY THIS SPECIAL MAN REPLIED TO ME ON INSTAGRAM!

"Read out loud!" she asked me. So I started reading:

"Hello Lizzy,

First I wanted to thank you for your message. It means a lot to me that u want to wait until I'm ready to show you guys the video. Many don't understand why I have not yet published the video even though it has been ready for a while. You apparently do. I know that you, my fan base, would never say anything bad about the video and I appreciate that. However, you are not the only people out there because the world is huge. Around 7.8 billion people live on it and most of them have never heard my name. Another part, however, harbors a hatred towards me that not many people notice. I just don't want to give this part a reason to hurt or insult my family, friends and fans in any way because I'm sure you would defend yourself if you got wind of it ...

I know this justification is a bit detailed but I want you to really understand my actions down to the smallest detail.

Mia stared at me in shock and surprise. I stared back in shock and surprise as well. "OMG Golden is coming tomorrow !!!" Then we both got into violent screaming fits. So hard that my mother ran up the stairs worried to check on us. After we had calmed down again, we decided to take a little walk. This "short" walk turned into a longer one with a 45 minute break. "What will you answer him?" Mia asks. "I'm not sure yet, but I will explain that I was pretty drunk. And that I'm happy about his answer as well as about the music video." "No, I wouldn't mention about being drunk otherwise he'll think that you only wrote to him because you weren't quite with yourself anymore." "Hmm, you're right. Then I'll leave that out. But the rest is good?" "Yes, that's great. Very honest and it's your way too." "Ok. Let's go, it's getting dark." I said. "Yes, you're right" it came from Mia. When we were walking home I got an idea. "Tell me Mia, have you seen Spiderman yet?" "It depends on which one you mean. I think I've seen all of them except for the new one." "The one with Tom Holland?" "Yes, exactly. I think it's called Homecoming." "Ok cool. Let's take a look at that." I suggested. "Yes, of course, but we'll answer first, or rather YOU, Harry." "I Agree!" I said while we both started to shake hands at the same time.

"Oh god Lizzy, we've been waiting for ages" "Yes for exactly 2 1/2 hours and guess what? We got up 2 1/2 hours ago!" Oh boy, that could be a very rocky road if madame is so incredibly patient here. My nerves were already bare. Also, I found my DEAD cat Edward in the driveway this morning. I got the most blatant weeping stuff ever and felt the whole street could hear me screaming. And when I say scream, I mean scream. Besides him and my grandma, I had never lost anyone close to me. And my grandma died 20 years ago. I was two then and couldn't really understand it all. So to speak, it was my first direct experience of death, and it really , really hurts. Mia called my mother who told her to bury Edward since she was away on business until Wednesday. I was in a shock of enormous proportions. So enormous that I just sat there for three hours and didn't move a millimeter. In these three hours I was becoming more responsive, nor did I hear anything from the outside world. I noticed Mia screaming something in my ear at some point, but that's about it. But then all of a sudden I was wide awake. That was really scary! I checked my cell phone and saw the Golden would be out in exactly 27 minutes. I was so excited and happy.

*Timeskip*

"5 4 3 2 1 OMG OMG IT'S OUTSIDE" I yelled in Mia's ear.

I was incredibly happy. The video spread incredibly positive vibes. I felt the tears running down my cheeks and I couldn't help but grin happily.

The video cheered me up incredibly and I was just so grateful to Harry that he was at XFactor back then. Or rather, I was very grateful to Anne for registering him. I was so in a rage that I just grabbed my cell phone and called Harry ...
