Y/n's P.O.V

I had been waiting for hours, I was worried that Louis didn't make it, and I started to sob into my hands, but I kept thinking happy thoughts too that he could still be alive. On the way to the hospital, I heard the doctors say that they were going to have to get fragments of the bullet out of him, so I knew that he would have to have surgery. Dear God, I know I do not pray often, but please let Louis live, I want us to raise our child together, and I want us to grow old together. Just please, let him live.

Then finally, the doctor came out and came down to my level. "How is he? Is he okay?" I asked. "Yes, the operation was a success, it took us a while to get all the fragments out but we were able to save him," he answered. I let out a sigh of relief knowing that my prayer had been answered. "Can I see him?" I asked. "Yes, he's in the room four doors to your left," the doctor answered. When I entered his room and immediately ran over to the bed and hugged Louis.

"I'm so glad your okay," I smiled. "Me too, I couldn't imagine leaving the two of you," he said placing a hand on my stomach. I sat down next to him and I looked into his eyes, so happy that we had survived our encounter with our stalker. "Did you hear anything about what happened to that woman?" Louis asked. "No, all I remember is shooting her in the leg after she shot you," I answered.

All of a sudden, I started crying, and I felt Louis grab my hand and squeeze it lightly. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked. "I'm just glad that you're still here, I can't imagine having to raise our baby without them knowing about their father," I sniffled. "It's gonna be okay, we're gonna get married, and we're gonna raise this baby together, I will never leave you Y/n, I love you too much to do that," he smiled...

Eight Months Later...

"Oh my god! This hurts too much!" I screamed as another contraction ripped through me. "It's okay sweetheart, It's gonna be okay, I'm right here," Louis said offering his hand. I took it and I squeezed it tightly as the doctor told me to push. "It's gonna be okay, in a few minutes our baby will be here. Our baby girl," Louis whispered. I looked over at Louis and he gave me that small adorable smile that I loved so much, and that gave me the strength to push.

"That's it, keep going," Louis whispered as I let out small whimpers as I pushed. When I ran out of breath, I threw my head back against the pillow, and I let out small pants of relief. "Okay, baby's head is out, one more push, and your baby will be here," the doctor said. Louis gently squeezed my hand, and I gathered up the rest of my strength and pushed again. A few moments later, I heard the cries of our baby fill the room.

"There she is!" Louis gasped as the doctor held up the baby. "Congratulations you two, she's beautiful," the doctor smiled. Our daughter was carefully placed onto my chest, and I wrapped my arms around the child I had carried inside me for nine months. "I'm so proud of you, Y/n. You were amazing!" he whispered. I felt him gently kiss my forehead and he planted a kiss on her head.

Our daughter looked up at us and she opened her eyes revealing that she had Louis' brown eyes. "Hi sweetie, we're your parents, we're gonna take good care of you," I whispered to her. She started smiling a little, and it warmed my heart to see her smiling. The doctors took her away briefly to get her cleaned up, and they brought her back to us all wrapped in a small pink blanket. "Do you want to hold her?" I asked looking up at Louis. "Yeah," he answered. I carefully settled her into his arms and I watched as he smiled down at our baby and whispered "hi," to her.

After a few minutes of holding her, he gave her back to me and sat down next to me on the bed. "What should we name her?" he asked. I looked down at her and I said her name from my heart. "I think we should name her D/n," I answered looking up at him. A smile spread across his face, and I could tell that he loved that name. "That's a beautiful name, I love it," he whispered before he kissed me on the lips.

I was so happy that I had a family now, and I give thanks every day that we survived our encounter with the stalker, the woman was convicted of aggravated stalking and was sentenced to a psychiatric hospital. Since then, I've always kept an eye out for any stalkers or anybody that could be suspicious because I never know if they could be...
