Kidnapped

Chapter Two

It's been a couple of hours since the discovery of note and Rita still couldn't calm her nerves. She always kept tabs on him and knew that he was supposed to spend 60 years behind bars for killing four men while trying to find her. But it seems like he managed to get out which was highly unlikely or escape. 

"Oh God. What am I going to do?" Rita said.

"Are you okay Mom?" A voice said which made her jump a little before turning around and seeing Lincoln. Her sweet precious little boy who will turn out to be a nice, helpful and wonderful man unlike...him.

"Y..Yes. I'm fine. How are you sweetie?" Rita said.

"I'm doing good. I was going to head over to Clyde's then come back home for dinner." Lincoln said.

"Have fun, dear." Rita said as she watched her son leave. She had an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach that something terrible was about to happen to her children. And that it had to do with her crazy ex...who's love for her went beyond anything slightly healthy.

"I have to call Dad." She said as she almost ran towards the phone unaware that her ex was laying in wait at the park. 

"Soon...I'll have you in my arms again and we'll be one big happy family like you always imagined." He said as he watched her call his future father in law. Meanwhile Lori called a meeting with all of her sisters to discuss what's going on with their mother.

"Alright. This meeting is in order." Lori shouted.

"But what about Lincoln?" Leni asked.

"I assigned Luna to text Lincoln...the details of the meeting so he can also place his guess on why Mom was acting odd." Lori said.

"Maybe someone died and she was just informed." Lucy said which caused her sisters to roll her eyes, but before one of them could disagree Luna got a text from Lincoln.

"Lincoln said that it's not that Lucy." Luna said.

"Besides wouldn't she receive a phone call if someone she knew died?" Lynn said.

"Wait..Before Mom went to her room, I heard her mention a name." Luan said.

"Who's name?" Lori asked.

"Well; I didn't catch a last name, but I heard her say Caesar." Luan said.

"Who the heck is Caesar?" Lola yelled just as Rita got off the phone with her father. Rita knew that she had to tell her family about the relationship that she had with Caesar and the child that she managed to leave behind. A child that will forever be in her heart and mind no matter how much time has passed.
