The next morning, I woke with a bad headache. I'm guessing from all the crying I did yesterday. I walked across the hall way to Tyler's room. He was laying in his bed.

"Ty, where's Stella?" I asked, interrupting his slumber.

"She stayed at her house with her little sister. She said she wanted to be alone." He sat up on his bed to look me in my eyes. "I tried to convince her to stay with us, her and her little sister but, she said it was best for them to be alone."

"Yeah, all she need is space, I don't know how she's going to tell Sammy." Sammy was her 8-year old sister. She was the sweetest, cutest thing possible. I loved her company. I felt bad she has to go through this at a young age.

"Do think she'll like if I come over later, just to check to see if everything's okay?" He asked.

"I'm sure she'd love that. I'll text her to let her know you are." After that, I closed his door and went downstairs, where Dylan was sleeping on the couch, Jesse watching tv while eating a bowl of cereal, and my mom cooking.

"Good morning Riles." Jesse said as I walked past the tv.

"Good morning Jess. Good morning mom." I said, giving her a hug and sitting at the kitchen table.

"Good morning mía. How was last night?"

"Umm...not so good." I confessed.

"What? Ty and Dylan hated the date?" She asked shocked.

"No no no...it wasn't the date actually. Me and Dylan's date was perfect, it was Stella's who'd was the worst. She got some bad news about her mom." I paused, trying to hold back tears. Stella's mom was like a second mom to me. I've know here for ten years, along with Stella.

"Don't tell me she was involved with that car accident that was on the news last night." I kept silent because I wasn't able to say yes or no without tears falling. "¡Oh dios mío! Is Stella and Sammy okay?" My mom sat down her pan, and rushed over to hug me.

"No Stella is very sensitive so this news hit her like a truck. I don't even think she told Sammy yet."

"Well you tell Stell, that if she needs us, a place to stay or a food or anything, we are here and she can stay with us for as long as she needs." I nodded my head and wiped away any tears that was on my face.

I walked back in the living room and sat next to Jesse. Dylan was now wide awoke.

"I can't believe that." Jesse said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"About Stella."

"Oh yeah. I don't even want to talk about it anymore. It's just going to bring more pain." I exclaimed.

"Well, I'm sorry for her. And if she needs anything, I'm here for her."

"Thanks Jesse."

I remembered all the fun times we had with Shelly. Eight years ago, on the Fourth of July, me, Stella, and a pregnant Shelly were doing fireworks in their backyard. Shelly loved playing jokes on us so when she said that her water broke we didn't believe her. We just laughed until we seen her crying and screaming with pain. At the age of twelve I learned how to drive. I rushed her to the nearest hospital and she got there just in time. Shelly gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Samantha Nicole Riley Lambert. Her middle name was named after me.

"Bye guys, I'm going to check on Stell. See you by dinner time." Tyler said, I didn't even notice him, or hear him coming down the stairs.

"Wait Ty, I need a ride to my condo." Dylan said as he hurried an shot up.
