CHAPTER 3

After 20 minutes, Symphony and Nyla said good-bye.

"So, did you make any new friends?", her mom asked confidently.

"Yes." she replied, shamefully.

She was ashamed because her mom was right. Her mom said she would make friends. Turns out, she was psychic. That's what Symphony thought. She had an imaginative mind. Symphony described Nyla and what they did.

"You must have had quite the 20 minutes.", she said sarcastically, not paying attention.

"Uugghh!!!!", she grunted.

The hotel room had 2 rooms, a living room, and  kitchen. Symphony went to her room and started unpacking. ' I'm not scared of a stupid GHOST.', she thought. She changed into her pajaja's. Pulling her covers, she jumped into bed and fell asleep.

CHAPTER 4

"BYE DAD!!! I'M GOING OUT WITH MY FRIENDS!!!" screamed Miami.

"ALRIGHT SWEETIE!! BE CAREFUL!!!" yelled back her dad.

The door was slammed shut. Her dad went to the kitchen to get some chips. When he turned on the light, guess who he saw? T H E  G R A Y  M A N!!!!

"PLEASE SPIRIT... DO NOT HURT ME!!!!" the father begged.

The gray man said nothing. All he did was step closer, the floorboards creaked with every step taken. The father had tried to break free of this creature's spell, he felt under. It was hopeless. The gray man extended his jaw, and the link of life and death......BROKE.

CHAPTER 5

"PLEASE EVERYONE!!! CALM DOWN!! WE SHALL SOLVE THIS MYSTERY!!!" exclaimed Mayor Boris Johnson.

"MY DAD DIED WHILE I WAS OUT!!! HOW AM I GOING TO CALM DOWN?!?!?!" yelled Miami.

As the townsfolk argued, Nyla and Symphony passed by.

"What's going on?" asked Symphony.

"The town is having a meeting, hosted by the mayor. They are talking about the gray man. He's been said to be taking people's lives." replied Nyla.

"I have heard of this fool. He killed my aunt." said Symphony.

"Really? Is your mom alright?" asked Nyla, concerned.

"She's fine. She's never said nothing."  replied Symphony.

Miami went up to them. Tears were in her eyes.

"Can I hang with you guys? I need to get my mind off my dad."

Next thing you know, the girls have an ice cream.
