(Benjamin's POV)

Pavel texted me early this morning asking me to hangout with him, he probably just wanted to brag about his latest Pokemon, so I was walking on my way to his house when I noticed a girl struggling to cross the road in her wheelchair with a sports bag resting on her lap.

I rushed over to ask if she needed any help but I didn't know how to approach her, she looked foreign so I didn't even know if she spoke Thai luckily I didn't have to guess because she spoke up first.

"Excuse me P...," she spoke perfect Thai.

"P'Ben." I nod my head politely.

"P'Ben, would you be so kind as to help me, I just need someone to me over this rode." She looked up at me with the most beautiful hazel eyes I have ever seen.

"Of course, we're are you heading, you seem really stressed." I tried to reasure the girl.

"Um I have an adution today, It's like my tenth this year, no one wants to hire the girl in a wheelchair." She laughed it off but she looked hurt.

"Look..." I paused for her name.

"Havana." She smiled brightly up at me.

"Look Havana? Someday someone will realise how talented you are and not see you as the girl in the wheelchair." I smiled at her as we reached the other side of the road.

"Thank you, I'm good here." Havana turned around to look me in the eye.

"Are you sure? I can escort you to the audition if you like?" I offered.

"I'm fine really, my friends are supposed to meet me hear anyways and besides you look like you have better things to do than escort a cripple to an audition." Havana laughed.

"Okay but can I at least get your number so I can congratulate you when you pass your audition." I smile confidently.

"Sure, but how will you know that I passed?" Havana raised a brow at me.

"Good question, guess I'll have to give you my number so you can call me." I flirted.

"I guess you will." Havana gave me her phone whilst keeping a tight grip on mine, smart girl.

"Havana! I'm so sorry we're late girl." Two girls came rushing towards Havana, one with black hair and one with Red hair, like dye job red.

"We would have been here sooner but Crimson slept in late again." The one with black hair spoke up again.

"Ebony, It's okay, we're still early." Havana laughed as we traded back our phones.

"Early, girl why did we have to get up so early?" Crimson complained.

"Stop whining Crimson, you know damn well why Havana wanted you up so early, you always sleep in. Did we interrupt something?" Ebony worried.

"Stop it right there Ebony, lets go before we will be late." Havana turned her back on me and rolled away followed by her two friends who occasionally glance back at me whilst chatting away with each other.

(Havana's POV)

I made sure I woke up extra early today because I had to make sure that everything would run smoothly to reduce my stress which was already sky high so my Chronic Pain Syndrome wouldn't flare up on audition day.

I made sure to give Crimson and Ebony the wrong time so they would wake up extra early. Crimson and Ebony have been my best friends ever since I moved here 4 years ago with my then boyfriend Shane.

Shane was older than me by 2 years, he was desperate to find a treatment that would work for me and heard of a specialist doctor working in Thailand, but when the doctor said there was nothing he could do Shane spiraled into alcoholism, he changed, he became a completely different person but the final straw was when he cheated on me.

He said it was my fault, that I wasn't the girl he fell in love with, that I was a cripple now and he could never love me anymore, all because my stupid condition kept deteriorating until I was wheelchair bound.

I never gave up on my dream though, me and my two new best friends were gonna be singers, we were either gonna join a group or we'd start our own.

We had been trying for 2 years now, they kept receiving multiple offers but they kept turning them down because of a stupid pact we made to become famous together or not at all, I kept telling them it was fine to leave me behind but they never gave up on me once.

"What's this? Is this a joke? How do you expect to dance in that thing?" A tall man in a black suite looked down on me, both figuratively and literally.

"Sir give her a chance, she's really talented." Ebony stood up for me.

"I wasn't asking you Ms..." the man paused as he tried to read her name tag. "... Chen, I was asking Ms Cook."

"You know what screw this." Crimson stood up from the floor briskly.

"Settle down Ms Li or you won't be auditioned either." The man spoke sternly.

"No this is not fair, Havana has more talent in her pinky than most people have in this room, and she is way more dedicated and hardworking than anyone in this room, she woke up at 4am to get ready just to make sure she won't be late."

"Maybe her pinky should audition in that case, Ms Li." The man was unfazed by Crimson's sudden outburst.

"Relax Crimson, don't throw away your chances at success for me anymore." I smiled sadly at the pair whilst holding back my tears

Once I was outside I started to cry whilst calling my older brother, Harry, he was 7 years older than me and 2 years older than my older sister, Harper, at 27 years old.

Harry moved out to Thailand after Shane and I broke up so he could take care of me whilst continuing his interviewing carer by interviewing Thai celebrities. I often felt jealous of Harry because he was so confident he could just relaxwith celebrities, he was never nervous, unlike me who was constantly a nervous wrek.

"So, when can I get an interview with the hottest new celebrities?" Harry teased as he picked up my call.

"Hold up? Who made my baby sister cry?" Harry was balling up his fist, I could just tell.

"Harry relax your hand before you burst an arm vein." I teased his muscular build.

"Fine but I want details, be prepared to be interviewed on the way home, I'm coming to pick you up." Before I could stop him Harry hung up.

I decided to send Ben a quick sad face emoji before Harry showed up to bug me about who I'm texting. I didn't expect a reply, he was just being kind to a poor cripple, doing his daily dose of good, he doesn't care about me.

"Havana, oh I'm so glad you're still here." Ebony rushed to give me a hug.

"How was your audition?" I try and wipe away my stray tears before they noticed.

"Girl you can't fool us, it's been 4 years, we were the ones who were by your side when that duchebag broke your heart." Crimson huffed.

"Please tell us what's wrong?" Ebony begged.

"Nothing, I decided I'm done with auditions." I smiled unconvincingly at them.

"I guess that means you won't audition for our group." Ebony pouted.

"What?" I was clearly confused.

"Ebony, you and I are starting our own group, obviously." Crimson rolled her eyes.

"Harry can even do our first interview." Ebony clapped excitedly.

"Yeah but we still need to sort out a lot girls, first of all we need a manager." Crimson put a whole in our plan.

"I'll get Harry to put in some calls, he's spoken with a lot of managers over the years." I beamed.

I whip out my phone to text Ben again but before I can hit send I hear Ben call out to me.

"Havana!" Ben called.

"Ben, I was just about to text you again." I admit.

"Miss me already?" Ben teased.

"Ebony?" The guy who had been looking at Ebony with confusion since he arrived with Ben finally spoke up.

"P'Pavel?" Ebony seemed just as surprised to see him.
