"Hey, I just wanted to talk to you.
I know you probably think that I keep asking about you and Tae because I'm jealous or something.

I just don't want you to get hurt by him."

I was just trying to eat my lunch when Mark and Lucas came over to sit with me.
Where was Jimin when I needed him?

"Mark, I appreciate the thought.
But you really shouldn't worry about me.

You have already warned me, and if he ends up breaking my heart then it is what it is. But for now, I am enjoying the time I share with him. Right now we are in love."

Lucas smiles at me, but Mark looks like he's about to bust a gasket.

"Fine, I was just trying to help."

They then finally walk away, just as Jimin is about to sit.

"Don't tell me that asshole is still trying to warn you away from Taehyung?"

"Yeah, I told him that I will just risk it and not to worry.
Lucas doesn't seem to care about me seeing him, but Mark is another story. He is like a broken record."

"Just don't let him put doubts in your head.
If he's being decent to you and you haven't seen him act shady then just ignore them."

I know what Jimin is saying is true, but a small part of me keeps nagging at me. Remembering everything I ever heard about my now boyfriend and how I had sworn to stay away from him.

I push it to the back of my mind and continue eating lunch.

"Do you want to go with me to look for an outfit for the dance after school?" Jimin asked.

"Dance?
What dance?" I reply.

He rolls his eyes and points to the dozen or so posters hanging around the cafeteria.

"Are you seriously that blind?
I have been talking about it for over a week now."

I then get flashes of Jimin's excited face as he talks about how he's bringing Jungkook as his date and how they will for sure win for best dressed couple of the night.

I have been preoccupied by other things."

They just giggled at him and turned back to their table.
