My name is Gina. I'm a Freshman. I recently began my college courses at a large university about 90 miles from my hometown. I have a dormitory room off campus. My building is one of several buildings in a complex built to house college students. There's both male and female students in the complex. In the center is a nice courtyard with grass and shade trees. It was only my third week of school. I hadn't really made any friends yet. Still getting used to my weekly school schedule. Three mornings in the week I have to be to class by 7:00 am. One day my first class starts at 8:30 am. And on Fridays, I don't have a class until 10:00. That schedule took some getting used to.
It was a Saturday afternoon and I was sitting on a blanket in the courtyard studying for next week's classes. There's a boy who I see sometimes. He lives in one of the other buildings. He's really cute. And he always says hi to me. Well, he must have seen me in the courtyard from his dorm room window and he came down.
He approached me in full view, head on. No surprises. Completely visible. Just like a Gentleman would. He dropped to his knees about 5 feet in front of me. Then sat back on his heels. He was careful not to be in my personal space. Not too close. About 5 feet away is the right distance for a first meeting. He probably didn't plan it that way. It was simply his instinct. He's showing all the signs of a good young man.
He said his name was Mason. He was very nervous. Extremely nervous. We talked a little about our classes, and where we were from. He was good enough not to over-stay our first encounter. He said he had things to do. And that he was very glad he got to talk to me. He's so cute, and he handled himself very well.
My first class on Friday doesn't start until 10:00. I was just killing time until I had to be at the school. I looked out my window down onto the courtyard. There was Mason. He was reading a book and soaking up the warm morning sun. So I went down to join him for a little while.
I called to him from across the courtyard. "Hello Mason".
He waved enthusiastically, so I knew it was alright to go sit by him. He had a late Friday class like me. He wore simple shorts and a t-shirt. Very casual since he wasn't expecting to meet anyone. I must confess I put on nice, fresh shorts and tank top before I went downstairs to talk to him. I wanted to look cute.We talked for a while. Now is when I dug a little deeper and asked the first personal question.
"So Mason. Do you have a girlfriend here? Or back home?"
He said no. After a few seconds of thought, he confessed he never had a girlfriend. He said the town he was raised in had little for female resources.
"Have you ever kissed a girl, Mason?"
"No". He said.I pressed further.
"Have you ever touched a girl?"Mason looked away as to not make direct eye contact with me.
"No. Except one time my Aunt Mary had her arm in a sling after a rotator cuff surgery. I was helping her put on her coat, and I accidentally felt her breast for just a second".Mason looked so cute. I was probably the first person he had ever made this confessed to. I bit my lip to keep from giggling at him. He kept having to push his hair away from his eyes to his left. It was more of a nervous activity than it was a necessary one. Well, I think I have made Mason uncomfortable enough for one day. So I said I had to get ready for class and excused myself.
Mason really was a sincere and sweet young man. He was always completely honest when he talked to me. He had innocent looking big brown eyes. And cute dimples when he smiled. He had a distinct jaw line that was predominantly masculine. It went well with his toned muscles in his arms and shoulders. Yet he spoke softly and was courteous.
