I'll be splitting this story up into 3 parts:

Part 1 = Story plotline etc., Amane's life at home.

Part 2 = Plot characters and important buildings.

Part 3 = Nene's life at home, Tiara case closed and the meeting.

Sorry for being dead and making my hiatus longer, I'll try my best to post more often from now on.

This is a somewhat short chapter. Apologies in advance.

------------------

Yugi Amane lays silently upon his shell-white tainted quilts, gazing blankly to that of the stars of which are adorned across the roof, as they emanated a small but visible glow. Feeling his eyes become heavy. He; at long last allowed sleep to overtake his mind as he slowly drifted his lids to a close.

He soon somewhat, in essence, awakes to a faint blue light seeping through the dull curtains of an immense window located in one of the many guest quarters the palace had to offer. He shifted his gaze downwards to now land onto a petite figure delicately clutching the front portion of his shirt as soft cream white hair draped that of his arms.

He untangled himself from the female, as he made his way towards the curtains that of which masked the room in darkness. He reluctantly peered forth, moving them to the side to then uncover the rising sun upon the horizon of the kingdom.

Pushing the drapes to the sides he had then peered back at the sleeping figure before finally sighing and stating...

"It's gonna be a long day, isn't it? Yashiro."

----------------------

Not even a mere hour later, Yashiro soon awakes from her peaceful slumber due to sunlight blinding her gaze.

"Morning," Amane casually says, peering over from his bed, as he then closed a small pamphlet containing that of the information regarding the disappearance of Princess Tiara. "So, what brings you here so early?" Amane questions, as for concerning that of past year Yashiro has been becoming more prone to not obtaining enough sleep.

"Well, one second I was 'doing something'... Then the next I was here," Nene starts, fiddling with her fingers, gazing only at the wooden floor of the cabin.

"Curse you dreamworld!" Nene whines, plummeting her face into the soft feathered pillow spawned across her current bed, as an attempt to fall back into sleep.

"Now-now, the earlier you're here the better. The princess has been missing for a few days and the king and queen are getting reckless." Amane chuckles, walking over to the girl and then passes her the paper he once held.

"Hm, I see..."

"Get ready, then we'll get breakfast and start the search." Amane hummed, as he walked out of the room finally closing the door.

----------------------

The two adolescents soon found themselves to be in front of the palace gates as Mitsuba the palace guard bid them a farewell for the remainder of the sunshine-filled hours of the day.

Nene and Amane paced back and forth throughout the kingdom unsure of where to go or whom to ask, as for they had only arrived in Greendale a mere twelve hours ago. A sudden thought erupted into the girl's mind as she remembered the events of the previous day.

"The bakery!" She rejoiced, attaching her hand onto the boy's wrist as she dragged him towards the gates of the kingdom.

"Y-Yashiro!" Amane said, pulling his arm away from the girl as he then stood to peer at a large vintage-like post; beautiful yet faded due to age. It was placed near to the front of the bakery with only two words in calligraphy-like writing, reading only that of. 'Greendale Bakery'
