Chapter 17 The truth

       How easy is to judge a person with out knowing their side of truth ? Natasha just couldn't digest the fact that Darshan could have betrayed someone in his past and left her to die. When she asked Amaira of this thing even she doesn't seemed to remember of that sort of something. But she knew there was something that she was hiding, to clear her thoughts she thought of asking him indirectly about his past that he regretted the most.

             It has been 2 days after she came back from Nanital. She met Darshan before he left for his work as he had some recordings and a concert. They didn't have much time to talk but Darshan knew something was wrong as Natasha seemed to be disturbed. But he didn't force her to share her problem as he thought she should herself open up with him.

            Natasha on other hand didn't want to share with him anything that happened in Nanital as she thought it will create unnecessary problems. When Darshan was away for concert Natasha tried to contact him but whenever she tried to call Darshan, he would either disconnect the call or just say he was way busy with his work. She at first thought he might be busy and hence is not able to speak. Right then she got message from the anonymous caller. He had sent her some pics of darshan, Revu and her friends having fun. He also sent a long message saying he should have choosen Revu for the task instead of her because he thinks she would have done the work better then her. Natasha was broken from inside. She didn't want to show it to the caller and she told the caller, " Don't you dare to hurt my sister keep her away from this mess and if you try to do.. " She was stopped by the caller saying, " What will you do Natasha? Did you forget that I have your twin sister with me. Do you want to loose her again and how dare you raise your voice against me. You will pay for this mistake and I mean it. I have been very patient with you but now you are forcing me to show my other face to you. I give you 15 days. Yes that's the time you have with you".Natasha was at verge of break down. She tried the caller again and again but the phone didn't connect she was literally ready to beg the anonymous caller to keep her sister away from this mess. She wanted assure him she will soon plan something, but 15 days were to less she wanted some more time.

        Natasha was shocked to see Darshan was chilling out with Revu and her friends. Natasha was angry and at same sad that Darshan lied to her that he was busy but in reality he was enjoying his time with his sister. It's not that she was angry that he was enjoying his time but he could have said it. She hated him for giving him lame excuses.

        Natasha was soo furious that she thought of calling Revu. She knew even Revu will try to cover up Darshan's lie. But she wanted to know the real reason of darshan's behavior towards her. Revu picked up Natasha's call on the second ring, "Hey Revu. Baccha how are you doing", said Natasha rather in sarcastic tone. "Chechiiiii I am good how have you been. I was about to call you but I was soo busy with back to back classes, seminars, notes and what not. Sorry I didn't call you", said Revu. Natasha could sense that her sister was lying. "Hmm.. busy haan, that I can see whose that other girl in pink dress standing next to you along with Darshan. Oh wait you were busy in classes you might not have noticed right wait I will send you pic that you clicked yesterday in CCD", said Natasha. Revu didn't know what to say, she was caught red handed and hence she started crying. She knew Natasha would never trust her again because she hated lies and fake promises. Seeing her cry Darshan who was standing beside her snatched the phone from her and said, " What's the problem with you Nats how dare you talk to her like that? For god's sake she is a kid". Natasha got soo angry thinking all this whole time when she was trying to contact him he didn't pick up for once but now when she was talking to her sister allnof a sudden he barged in as if he had whole lot of time. "And may I know who are you to ask me this question. I tried to contact you so many times and what did you do. Did you even care to ask why I was trying to contact you. Did you know how I felt when I saw you with her? Did you know how I felt when my little sister lied to me that she was busy with her studies but in reality she was happy time with her idol? No you, don't know darshan, you just don't. It hurts when someone lies to you or ignores you specially when you have started...", saying this she started sobbing. All this while Darshan was quitely listening to her. " So tell me why didn't you say me what had happened in Nanital about the accident", asked darshan. Hearing this Natasha said"Thats because I thought you will get worried unnecessarily and I didn't want you to get worried for us and nothing happened to us we were safe. But that doesn't matter now, I know how much you care for your friends. Have a lovely time with your "so-called new friends", specially that girl in pink dress. Oh godddd I hate her and I want to talk to Revu please give her the phone and please don't ever try to contact me". But Darshan was smiling from other end of phone hearing Natasha's banter. He said , " Ok I will give her the phone but please explain me what you meant by saying It hurts when someone lies to you or ignores you specially when you have started.., please complete it. I don't like incomplete sentences you know". It was then Natasha realised that she had almost confessed her feelings to him. But she was adamant girl she said whatever she said she doesn't remember right now and she doesn't want to  talk about it. When darshan gave Revu the phone was grinning from ear to ear. Revu took the phone and started apologizing for what she did but Natasha no more angry with her little sister because she knew why darshan was ignoring her because he cared for her and didn't like the fact that she hid facts from her. She told her to concentrate in her studies and join her in Mumbai after her semester exams.

      15 days is all Natasha had with her to work out her plan. The plan to save her sister and her love from anonymous caller. Will she able to save them both or she will loose them forever. Stay tuned for next chapter.
