*WALKING TO THE ARCADE*
Iwa's POV:
I'm really nervous, like REALLY nervous. However, for some reason I can't explain why. It just seems like it can't be possible. Everything that's happening now. Trashykawa actually likes me, in a romantic way at that. And I'm not sure if I'll end up liking him back. But let's say I do, will I like him back because I truly have the same feeling back or, because I feel like I'm obligated to do so?
I just really hope that I won't end up hurting our relationship with each other, both friendship and romantic wise.
"Hey!! Earth to Iwa!" Oikawa says while waving his hand in front of my face. "If you keep this up I'm going to destroy you at all the games in the arcade."
"Even if I'm spaced out, I could still beat you at any game we play. Just like I always do". I should be more careful. I don't want to ruin the atmosphere with my glum thinking.
Oikawa pouts and crosses his arms while looking away.
*AT THE ARCADE*
"We finally arrived". Oikawa says as if the arcade was that far in the first place.
We play through all the games and surprisingly (not) I win at almost all of them.
"There has got to be more games around here. I can't let you get away with beating me at almost all the games!" Oikawa says.
As they are walking to find another game to play, Oikawa spots a claw machine game with a alien plushie as one of the prizes. Oikawa jumps in joy letting Iwa know of the game, and so they walk over and start playing.
"UGHHH! Why can't I get it. I've spent spent so much on you, just for you to betray me" Oikawa says dragging his finger down the glass of the claw machine.
"Let me try to get it. You really suck at the game", Iwa says while reaching down to put the money in. Just as he was about to put his money, Oikawa covers the whole. "What makes you think you could get it after I just spent so much time on it, hmmmm?" He says while still covering the whole. "Well for one, I've beaten you in almost all the games here. And second, don't you want the alien? C'mon, let me try and get it for you."
Oikawa let out the biggest smile
"Well if you truly think you can get it then go right ahead", he moves his hand away from the whole. "Alright stand back", he cracks his knuckles in an attempt to make himself look cool. (Which did make himself look more cool in Oikawa's eyes).
Iwa's POV:
Oikawa wasn't just being dramatic, this is actually very difficult. This is like my 10th attempt. If I don't get it now it'll be absolutely embarrassing.
*clears throat* "I've got it for sure this time", Iwa says while obviously stressed.
"Okay, sure".
The way that shittykawa just said that. He has no faith in me, but I'll get it this time.
Iwa hits the release button, and the claw starts to move downward. Both of them stare, hoping that it gets the alien because then they would have wasted money for nothing. The claw is heading for the side of the plush.
"Iwaaaaa, noooo. The aiming is way off, it's not gonna be able to grab the plush".
Yea, I definitely just messed that up.
The claw hits the side of the plush, pushing it down and out of the machine. Both boys just stand there in silence to what they just witnessed. 5 seconds of pure silence, then a burst of cheering from Iwa.
