*Changbins POV
Chan and I spent a few more hours talking and getting to know each other. It was nice to be honest with you.I loved hearing him talk. Tell me things about himself. He even mixed in a little bit of English with his Korean.
I start to notice that the sun was going down. The orange red hue shining through the cafes windows. I quickly check the time and see it was almost 7.
"Oh shit! I'm going to be late!" I exclaim, causing Chan to jump a bit.
"I'm sorry. I gotta go." I say and start to get up.
"Where are you going? I can drop you off if you like." Chan offers.
I nibble on my lip. A ride would be faster then taking the bus.
"If you don't mind." I say. He gets up and shakes his head.
"Of course not! Let's go." He says.
I bid Hyunjin a farewell and we left the cafe. Chan's car was parked in front of the cafe.
A nice charcoal mustang. Of course he'd have a nice car.
We get in and he starts the engine.
"Where to?" He asks.
"Sunset Academy." I say, texting Jisung a quick message.
Chan nods and soon drives off.
I couldn't help but stare a bit as he drives. He made it look so attractive (because I bet he does make it attractive).
How he concentrates on the road, his left hand gripping the steering wheel, right on the gear stick. (Car is standard, or in other words a stick shift).
I look away as he glances over. I feel my heart beat and face flush. I hope he didn't notice me staring.
We soon arrive to the school and Chan parks the car.
"Oh you don't have to wait for me." I say as I unbuckle the seatbelt.
Chan shakes his head. "I don't mind. Beside I wanna see how you practice."
I nod and get out the car. I feel nervous. Why? I didn't actually play volleyball, and yet I wanna try my hardest to play in front of Chan.
We enter the gym. Hearing a pair of shoes squeaking across the field and balls getting spiked.
"Hey Jisung." I say as I start to take off my jacket. Jisung stops his spikes and looks over.
"Hi hyung. Oh hello Chan hyung!" Jisung greets happily as he sees the elder.
Chan chuckles a bit and waves.
"Ready for practice?" I ask as I start to do my stretches. Jisung nods.
"I've been waiting. Chan hyung are you joining us?" The younger asks.
Chan lightly scratches his cheek. "Uh I guess I can try."
I giggle a bit. Watching Chan catch the insane balls would be funny.
"Great! Go ahead do some stretches." Jisung says.
We get warmed up and head to the court. Chan on one side of the court, Jisung and I on the other.
"Try to receive the balls by using your forearms." I explain. Chan nods.
Jisung throws the ball up to me and I set it for him. He runs to it, jumps up and spikes the ball. Chan manages to receive but falls the ground pretty rough.
"Oh my gosh! are you okay?!" We exclaims as we go to him. He laughs and nods.
"Yes. That was fun." He smiles at us.
My heart flutters.
We continue to help Jisung with his practice. Chan falling and rolling around to catch the balls.
"Ahh my body is going to be sore tomorrow." Chan pouts as he rubs his elbows.
I chuckle a bit. "That's what happens when you help Jisung."
"I didn't mind though. I got to see you in action." Chan says.
I blush and nod a bit.
"Thanks guys. I really appreciated the help." Jisung says as he zips up his jacket.
"No problem. Glad to help anytime." Chan says.
We exit and Jisung locks up the gym. We head towards Chan's car, the elder offering us a ride.
"See you Monday Binnie!" Jisung says as he exits the car. We wave him goodbye and drive off to my house.
"Today was fun." Chan spoke up. I nod in agreement.
"Let's do it again." He continues.
"Like a date?" I laugh out. But I did hope he would say yes.
"Yeah. Like a date!" Chan exclaims with a smile.
"Okay." I say and look at him. He glances at me and then back on the road.
"Tomorrow, at 5. You can pick me up at my work." I say.
Chan nods, the cute smile still on his face.
"It's a date!"
