*Changbins POV
I sigh as I finish stocking up the shelves. I look at the clock hanging on the wall near the entrance. It was almost time for my shift to end and my date to begin.

I rush to the employees room and start to change out of my work uniform and into my outfit for the date.

It was a simple black skinny jeans with a white long sleeve shirt that was slightly tucked into the front. My shoes were just black and white vans.

I run a hand through my hair and shut my locker close before grabbing my backpack.

I wave goodbye to my coworker and walk out to the front. There I waited for a few minutes before I see a familiar car coming my way.

I couldn't help but smile as Chan gets out of the drivers side, a bouquet of roses in hand. He walks up to me with a smile. A nervous smile I might add.

"You look great." He says. I giggle and thank him.

"Thank you. Not to bad yourself." I say.

He looks down at himself and shrugs. "Yeah, well I had Minho's help."

I smile as I can imagine the struggle the other probably went through.

"Ah! Here you go. These are for you." He says as he carefully hands me the roses.

"Thank you. But you didn't have to." I say as I look down at the beautiful bright red flowers.

"Nonsense! I want this date to be perfect!" He exclaims.

Shit. This was a date. Our first date at that.

"Come on. I have the day all planned out." He says as he opens the passenger door for me.

I thank him and get in. Placing my backpack on the floor and the roses on my lap.

I see Chan jog to the drivers side and gets in. We buckle up and we were soon out of the gas stations area.

"Where are we going first?" I ask as I look at him.

Chan shifts the gear on the car and looks at me for a millisecond.

"It's a surprise." He says with a dimpled smile. That smile that I came to love.

I look around the area and automatically recognized it.

"We're going to Hyunjins cafe." I point out. I look at him and Chan already had a pout on his lips.

"You ruined the surprise!" He exclaims as he continues to look at the road.

I laugh and look at the window.

"You should've blindfolded me then."

He hums and we soon arrive at the little familiar cafe. He parks the car in front and we exit out.

He opens the door for me as we enter the coffee shop.

"Welcome! Here are your orders." Hyunjin greets us as he hands us two drinks.

"What if I wanted a different drink this time?" I ask as I hand Chan his coffee.

Hyunjin glares at me but had a smile on his face.

"Take the damn free coffee. Enjoy!" He says and waves us off.

We chuckle as we went to sit at the same table as before.

"So why bring me here?" I ask, taking a sip of my cold drink.

"You're really going to ask me that?" Chan laughs as he takes a sip of his drink.

I nod. "I want to know your reasoning for this."

He hums and swallows the liquid.

"I brought you here because this is where we actually got to know each other more. Where we were able to hold a conversation without anyone to help." He spoke.

And his eyes shined with each word. As if he was proud to have hold a decent conversation with me.

I nod and continued to sip my drink.

We chatted about a few things. Whatever came to mind. And then last nights events came to mind.

"It was funny watching you try to get the balls." I giggle out.

Chan laughs a bit and scratches his cheek.

"Yeah, well I tried my best to impress you."

This time I laughed. "Impress me? You don't need to impress me."

"Oh? So does that mean I won you over?" Chan asks smugly.

I blush and look away from him. "I haven't decided yet. This date will have to determine that."

"Then I will do my best!" He exclaims.

We finish our drinks and then head out. This time I didn't know where we were going.

"Is it the zoo?" I ask. Chan shakes his head.

"Stop trying to guess." He laughs out.

I pout and look forward.

"You're cute when you pout." He says. I blush and look away from him trying to hide it.

But he still noticed it. "Even cuter when you get flustered."

We continue on the road and soon arrived at a parking lot filled with cars. Besides it was a carnival. People going in and out of it and carrying many prizes.

I can hear the shouting and laughter from people on rides. The smell of street food filling my nostrils.

"The carnival!" I shout as I jump on my heels, waiting for Chan to get out of the car.

He laughs at my reaction and nods.

"Shall we?" He asks and extends a hand out. I nod and grab it. He immediately interlocked our fingers.

We spent the time having fun. Riding the rides and Chan even trying to win me as much prizes as he can.

"I can't carry anymore." I say as I try to peer my head over the stuffed animals in my arms.

Chan laughs and takes some into his.

The sun was starting to set. The orange red hue filling the sky.

"Come on! One last ride before dinner!" Chan shouts as he drags me to the Ferris wheel.

We get on it and look around us. The people getting smaller and the town coming into view.

"Wow!" I say as I look forward.

The sun was just above the mountains, slowly going down.

"It's so pretty!" I say as I continue to watch it.

"Not as pretty as you." Chan says.

I blush and laugh. "A cliche thing to say, don't you think?"

He laughs as well and nods. "Yeah, well I'm a cliche guy."

After the sun went down and the moon was up, we got down the Ferris wheel and back to Chan's car.

"Where are we having dinner?" I ask but already knew.

"Now you're just pulling my leg. This time you know the answer." Chan laughs as he drives out the parking out lot and to the direction of my home.

I giggle. "Yeah, well I didn't want to ruin the surprise."

I can see he playfully rolled his eyes. And the smile still on his face.

I look away and out the window. My heart was beating so fast that I didn't notice.

I've had such a great day with him. That everything seems so casual. As if we didn't just meet months ago.

We were only strangers who were on this date.

The date that changed everything.
