i awake. it wasn't a dream and i was actually here. great fucking great.
looking left to me saff wasn't in her bed. hmm weird okay. i pop my uniform on and slap the nearest powered on to my face.
"wow! your looking half presentable today, cass well done"i stated to myself while straightening my tie in the mirror.
the common room was empty too. where the hell is everyone. i glance towards my wrist. 8:58am. and there was my answer. for fuck sake. late once again.
i sprint down the long jury halls. pouncing for air every five seconds, i should definitely work out more.
"2 minutes and 35 seconds late miss woods" snape snapped as i close the door behind myself hoping he wouldn't notice. nevermind.
"detention, 6pm no later. now sit down i don't want to waste anymore time on you."
i look around looking for a spare seat. when i thought this day couldn't get any worse. oh it could.
i plunged into my seat. keeping my full attention on snape and not the platinum haired boy who seemed to be staring intensely into the side of my scalp.
"do take a picture malfoy it will last longer" i uttered bending down for the quill out of my bag.
no response. that's strange. he normally insults me ever chance he could get. coming back up i notice a hefty booklet placed onto my desk. shit the felix felicis exam. i am such an idiot. "forgot now did we cass, looks like im going to beat you now doesn't it?" draco let out while the grin on his face grew bigger. 
"mr malfoy looks like you'll be joining miss woods here in tonight's detention. no talking during an exam you know the rules. to think your both in slytherin too. disgraceful behaviour." snape snarled.
oh brilliant. if detention wasn't bad enough with snape i now have to spend it with posy boy over here too.

"i don't think i can take another minute of him," i groaned to saffie while digging into my chicken.   
"why can't you both just be friends" saff explained.
i paused. fork dropping to the table and eyes darting towards malfoy.
"you wan- want me to the friends with with that thing.no thanks i rather marry filch for god sake" i shouted making sure devil child over there could hear me loud and clear.
saff shook her head and continued to eat her food. i looked up to the great hall clock and noticed it was 5:50. scooping three more mouth fulls into my mouth i grabbed my things ready for the next hour of horror. "ill see you later on" i signalled in her direction and left.

the halls was quite. finally peace no noise and no malfoy. i reached snapes door. breathe in and out.
"ahh miss woods, early for once i see. start cleaning these caldrons no magic i will be checking" after malfoy strutted in snape finally left. now the 'fun' started.
