Author Dove20

I am going to say something I rarely do. That is give part of the story here. If you read the prelude you know the girl is stuck by travesty. The first couple of chapters talk about what she did over the next 8 years, and what happens when she meets her mate. (She hooks you with that story.) I would give this storyline a 3 paw rating)
Then BAM the girl wakes up. She is the orphan princess and some of the stuff happened. But the storyline changes when she meets her mate and is rejected because of scarring. Then meets her second chance mate. (This story line is not so good. I would only give a 1-1/2 paw rating.)
She spends several chapters talking about her dead brother and all the sudden he is alive. (You realize later in story he was alive but hidden but taken by someone.) This confusing part brought the rating to 1 paw rating.)
You add the fact she uses several wrong words. Examples: write vial means veil / writes barron meals borrow / writes threw and means thorough (I read someone said English is her second language they think) which grammar is a 1/2 paw rating.

What is sad is that first story line with a good editor could have brought it up the ratings considerably. It was like she had dozens of ideas and just threw them all into one story. Very confusing and several mentioned it gave them a headache trying to figure it out.
In December 2019 she said she was going to take down and rewrite all the last couple chapters, but based on remarks that was never done. When it comes to reading it I consider it enjoyable, but this book I did not enjoy. I am not even going to list a rating for it.
