My brother is finally getting married" Climbing on top of your brother's back just as you head down the stairs startling him. "Get down you pig" "Kim YN get down my son will get hurt." You heard your mom say as you got down "*mumbling* of course your precious son Taehyung" but looks like your brother heard it nudging your shoulder.
You all settled down at the dining table to have your breakfast. "When are we meeting with the Jeons, Taehyung?" Your dad asked as soon as you started eating. "Jennie has some work till 6 so we all decided to meet up by 7?" Your brother replied. "What about you yn?" "I have a project to complete complete so I'll be a bit late" you replied continuing to eat your food but stopped once you heard your dad say "I want you to behave tonight yn" " and yeah don't make stupid jokes about my son there" said your mom. "Mom,you know she wouldn't do that"
Taehyung backed you up while you just continued eating getting used to this.
Time skip:-
Taehyung and your parents were already at the restaurant where you were supposed to meet Taehyung's supposed in-laws.They all settled down after greeting each other. "Where's yn?" Jen whispered in his ear when he sat next to her "are we here to talk about our marriage or you want to get married to yn?" "Just answer the question Kim" "she'll be here soon don't worry" Just as he completed explaining jen Mr.Jeon asked up the same question.
"She'll be here soon,Taehyung give her a call once" Your dad replied.
On the other side- "i am just outside I'll come now" you ended the call after informing your brother about your whereabouts.Not looking where you were going you bumped into someone. "Oh my i am so sorry I wasn't looking" the only thing you heard as a response was a chuckle "its ok I wasn't looking myself" the latter replied making you look at him.
And that was probably the most handsome guy who looked like a snack in that black suit but at the same time the doe eyes made him look extremely cute. You guys were staring at each other for about 10 seconds when you finally deciduous to speak " um so I'll take a leave now" "y-yeah go one"
"I am sorry I am late" you said as soon as you reached the table where everyone was seated. "No worries how are you yn?" Mrs.Jeon asked and as you were about to answer and settle down you were cut off "Sorry I am here" you looked back to see the same guy from earlier.He had a huge smile looking at everyone and then his eyes made contact with yours making you look away and settle down as he did the same sitting next to you. "Yn-ie I missed you" jen chimed hugging you as if you guys were meeting after ages.
"Wow the brother who came after a month from a business trip is not missed but the soon to be sister-in-law is. I see Jen you already are a Kim now" the guy next to you or as now you know him as Jungkook said out loudly making everyone at the table laugh at his comment as jen just playfully glared at him."so what was the trip about Jungkook" your dad stated as they continued the discussion. But were you paying attention to it? Not at all you only cared about the delicious food served on the table.
Jungkook noticed your lack of interest in the conversation and your eyes hawking at the food. A silent chuckle left his mouth finding you cute "You should start with salad first" he whispered in your ear."salad r-" you cut yourself off realising you were about to embarrass yourself. "O-oh I am not that hungry" but he just picked up the plate serving you. "Oh thank you I can do it by myself." You said taking the plate making his hand brush with yours as you unexpectedly blushed.
The dinner continued and it was soon the time to take a leave. "Mr.Kim I really like your offer let's stay back and talk it out with some drinks while the kids can take a leave" Mr.Jeon offered as you,jungkook,Taehyung and jen took a leave. Taehyung and jen were walking in front of you and Jungkook whispering something to each other "come on guys spill it out already" they both stopped looking at you "actually we were planning to go on a long drive" " go on then" "but how will you go home yn?" "I'll drop her off...i mean if she comfortable with it "
Jungkook spoke up as all of you looked at him." Fine then Jungkook can drop me home you guys have fun" you stated while giving your farewell to Taehyung and jen.
You got inside the car once Jungkook opened the door "thank you...you look like a gentleman type" "no i am not but when you have such a pretty lady you ought to be a gentleman" he replied with a wink making you laugh. He started driving while starting a conversation as well "you were late for dinner as well?" "Yeah had a project to complete" "you're still in school?" He said rather shocked making you want to tease him more. "And if I am is there a problem Mr.Jeon" "N-no no of course not" he replied rather quickly.
"I am 21 last year of university" " oh thank god" he mumbled which you kinda missed " did you say something" " no no" " and what about you?" " I am 23 older than you" he stated a bit sternly
"So do you have a girlfriend?" You were the one to speak this time. "Quite interested about me are we?" He replied'of course the cocky guy' " i am just trying to not make things awkward and keep a conversation going" you said rolling your eyes later making him laugh.
"Well i don't have one at the moment but will like to have one soon" he replied now looking at you as you did the same " Well best of luck hope you get a girlfriend soon" you replied innocently " thanks we're here" he said pulling the brakes
"Thank you for the ride" you said pulling the seat belt out. "I think we're going to see each other a lot these days" " i think so too" you replied finally deciding to get down the car.
"Good night Ms.Kim" " have a safe drive home Mr.Jeon" you both said dramatically bowing down to each other laughing later on as you finally waved at him as the last goodbye for the day.
At the restaurant:-
"Well then I think its decided now" Mr.Jeon said. " our company would be obliged to work with you Mr.Jeon"
"This just brings both the families closer" mrs.Jeon commented as everyone agreed to her words raising their glasses to toast at the new deal they made just now.
