I couldn't believe I was about to attend a concert by Kevin Jeanen, a celebrity I didn't even like but now I'm going to see him because of my best friend.

Keisha dragged me along because she was obsessed with his best friend, Danny, who was his co-songwriter, co-producer, and occasional performer.

As if I wasn't going through enough already, Keisha nagged that we also attend the meet-and-greet to get closer to Danny.

"What am I gonna wear to stand out from those hoes after my man?" Keisha sang while we were preparing for the event.

I laughed at her drama and looked at my wardrobe. I was looking for a simple outfit so I chose black tights, a matching T-shirt, sneakers, and my favourite painted wolf spirit hoodie. I let my curls loose and waited for Keisha.

Keisha came out and smirked, she was wearing red tights, a red crop top with fur and red sneakers. When we entered the crowded venue, I was happy we got tickets and VIP passes in advance.

The excitement was everywhere, we were escorted to the lounge area and looked down at the crowds of people around the stage. However, my attention quickly shifted when Kevin's best friend, Danny made his entrance and he caused chaos in the crowd below us.

I turned to look at Keisha but she couldn't take her eyes off Danny. He entered the VIP lounge and greeted everyone individually until he arrived at us.

"Hi" he greeted us with a smile.

"Hi" we both replied, Keisha continued to stare at this man. I looked at her and she was looking at him with bright eyes and a smile.

"Hi, Danny, right? I'm Keisha." I saw her blush and knew that she liked him way more than she let on."Hey, Keisha. Yeah, that's me." He smiled warmly."I've been looking forward to meeting you....your music means so much to me."

I saw Danny's eyes light up when he looked at Keisha talking, he took a step closer and only glanced at me momentarily."Thanks, Keisha. It's always great to connect with fans like you." He smiled, I saw him look at her and lick his lips.

"So, what's it like being on tour with Kevin? Must be pretty intense right?" Danny leaned in, his expression looked like he didn't even acknowledge anyone else around him.

"Yeah, it can get pretty crazy out there but being on stage with Kevin, it's like nothing else. We do our best to put on a good show but it's not just about the music, you know?" Danny's gaze softened, his eyes locking with hers.

Keisha held her breath and played with her fingers. "What do you mean?"

"It's about the connection we have with the audience" Danny explained, his voice dropping to a hushed tone. "The energy in the room when we're all in sync, it's electric."

Keisha looked at him and hesitated. "I bet it must be incredible to feel that connection with your fans." Danny's lips curved into a smile.

"It is but sometimes, it's nice to connect with someone on a more personal level." he smiled and licked his lips again.

"Yeah, I know what you mean," Keisha agreed, her voice barely above a whisper. "Sometimes, it's nice to just let go of all the noise and be with someone who really gets you."

While Keisha and Danny spoke, I excused myself to get some water. Sitting alone on a nearby couch, I watched their conversation from a distance.

Keisha looked over at me, she walked nervously to me whilst trying not to smile. I tried not to laugh at her, attracting some people's attention, Keisha sat back and slightly shifted towards me.

She bit her lower lip, she looked at me slightly and spoke.

"Hey, so, um, Danny wants to talk to me alone. Do you mind if I...?"

I smiled and couldn't help but giggle. "Of course not, Keisha. Go ahead, I want you to talk to him."

It wasn't long before they disappeared into a private room, leaving me to fend off Kevin's approaching fans. Feeling somewhat annoyed, I plugged in my earphones to drown out the commotion. However, my solitary moment was short-lived when someone unexpectedly approached me.
