Lafayette's POV:

( oh and I forgot to say this was when I was in 5th grade so the characters are like 11 and 12)

I was doing my work on my tablet, everything was going great! Until my tablet died. 'Crap' i thought to myself. I know what Mr. Washington always says when you tell him "my tablet died" he'd always say "well call an ambulance." and the whole class would laugh. Me, being the only one who hated it when he said that kept telling myself as I got up and started walking over to his desk. 'Ok, don't act stupid, just tell him that you need to put your tablet to charge. Don't ask him for help, just ask "can I put my tablet to charge?" that's all you have to say' as I stepped closer to his desk I kept repeating in my head 'can I put my tablet to charge'. I got to his desk and then he spoke.

"Yes?" I froze. 'CRAP WHAT WAS I GONNA SAY?!' i panicked so i just said the first thing that came to mind "can you help me please?" I mentally slapped myself, everybody was staring and i just remembered what I was supposed to say.

"u-Um no-NO that's not what I meant- uHm... AhaA!" I stuttered and tried to laugh it off at the end but my voice just cracked. "Yo why does he laugh like that?" somebody said from the classroom and everybody looked at each other with either confused or worried glances. I looked down clearly embarrassed. "You know what? I'll just go.." I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear. I walked back to the cart where we put our tablets to charge and I plugged it in getting one of the spare tablets we had and walked back to my table leaning my head on my hand looking down at my desk.

"Bro what was that?" I hear my friend john say. "Dude I don't even know all I know is that I wanna die now."
