Grian launched out of his base just to take a nice night fly. He soared through the cold air, the brisk air stinging his nose for a second. He must have been flying for hours because sooner than he thought, his elytra started breaking.
"No, crap, crap no," Grian thought to himself. He tried to glide himself back towards his base but ended up falling towards Mumbo's base.
Meanwhile, Mumbo stood outside his base AFKing as always. He was blanking out when suddenly he heard a voice that instantly made him jump to his senses.
"Mumbo, HELP!" Grian called out as he tumbled towards the ground. Mumbo tried to help his dearest friend by trying to catch him on the ground but ended up tumbling over and getting headsmacked.
"Ow, oh hey Grian," Mumbo tried to brush it off like it was no big deal, but in reality he was a bit disgruntled.
"Hey Mumbo, you okay?" Grian replied.
"Yeah I'm fine, just got hit in the head." Mumbo replied.
"Well, the thing is, my elytra broke, so I fell from the sky..." Grian tried to explain his situation.
"H'oh boy, let me get the extra bed," Mumbo said, still disgruntled. He walked into his base to grab the extra bed he kept just in case. He put it in the other room next to his.
"Alright, get ready for bed, you're not able to build anything big tonight anyway," Mumbo welcomed his guest in. "It's in the other room, next to mine."
As soon as he finished his sentence, he cringed. After all, they were best friends, it seemed odd to him that he would be in the other room seperated. However, Mumbo still was uncomfortable about sleeping in the same room, let alone bed.
As Mumbo laid in bed, trying to go to sleep, he heard Grian's voice singing very softly but emotionally.
