Chapter 2

"hm",I groaned softly opening my eyes slowing.my sight was hazy but all I could make out was a white ceiling.

I hurriedly opened my eyes in panic.I looked around the room.

It smelled like the hospital.I was laying on a white bed with a blanket covering my body.

I could see bandages here and there.I stopped for a second my hand going to my neck as I felt a bandage there as well.

While I was lost in thought the door to the room open.I looked at the people who came in the room in confusion.

Before I knew it the man with the glasses came to me with a dorky smile making me look at him for a moment before I smiled at him.

"Hello hello my name is Kaien Cross, and this person behind me who brought you here is my son Zero."Kaien replied happily while the "Zero" made an annoyed sound and said I'm not your son".

Kaien pouted,"why you always pay attention to the details zero".

Zero rolled his eyes before he walked over getting on one knee to be at the same height as me as I looked at him.

"Are you ok" Zero asked me which made the atmosphere intense.

I looked down at my hands feeling tears run down my eyes.

"I didn't mean to open the door I'm sorry,I'm so so sorry."I cried to myself for a few minutes before I was hugged tightly.

I stopped crying hugging on to the man named Zero.He pulled back and whipped my tears from my eyes.

"It's ok it's not your fault"Zero replied before we was both squeezed tight to the Kaien who was in tears as he kept saying how proud he was of zero" or how cute I am".

I giggle at both of them as Zero hit Kaien on top of the head making him fall to the ground.

Timeskip

They brought me to there home after a checkup making sure I was okay.

I sat in the living room near the fireplace with a blanket over me and a cup of hot cocoa.

Kaien walked in sitting next with of plate of food.

"Here it is something for you to eat while Zero cooks dinner."he said giving me the plate.

"It's lemon squares"

I tilted my head looking at the food.

"Le-lem-oon squares?"

He gasps" you never had lemon squares before"

I said no.

"Well then you must try it, it good to try new things"he replied smiling at me as I picked up one of the yellow squares at ate one.

My eyes had sparkles as chewes the food in happiness,before you knew it all the squares were gone.

I raised my plate to Kaien who sweat dropped at me.

He picks me up and brings me to the kitchen where I see zero cutting something with a knife.

I sat at the table while Kaien walks to zero saying something to him.

He walks up to me" Sorry little one but I have some work to due and I'll be a bit of a pickle if I don't get it done so I'm leaving you with zero I won't be gone for long"

I watched zero cook lost in thought before he talks startling me.

"What is your name?"

"O-Oh my name is Yuuka sakura"I replied nervous after seeing him pause absent minding that he still had a knife in his hand.

I stopped,felling thirsty smelling the air.

Looking at zero to see him cut his hand with red liquid coming out of it.

I slowly crawl out of my seat a growl coming out my mouth.

Zero looked at me wide eyes.
I couldn't control my body and the next thing you know I was biting the same hand he cut.

Drinking the red liquid from him groaning.he yelled at me trying to pull me from his hand but I didn't stop.

I couldn't stop.

Why can't I stop?

I was crying before,my vision went blank
