Just Friends || A Midochako short story

Ochako POV

As Bakugou left I looked Deku in the eyes.

"So shall we go at 4:50?" I smile

"S-sure.." Deku was flustered. I patted his back.

I forgot Iida was there and I was so tempted to kiss him.

Tuesday January 13th, 4:52:

I sat by Deku's house and waited for him.

I decided to knock on his door

"One second!" Deku sounded in a hurry.

"I'm not gonna rush you," I giggle. "Could I invite myself in?"

"Sure! My mom isn't here right now." Deku sighed

I walked in and sat down

"Deku, where are you?" I had yelled from his living room.

"In the bathroom! I'll be out in a second!"

"Okay!"

I waited around ten minutes

"Deku are you trolling me-!!?" I sit up and walk into the bathroom to see Deku shirtless and looking like a nervous reck.

"URARAKA!" He yelled

"S-sorry.." I blushed and walked out.

After a couple of minutes he had finally came out wearing jeans and a hoodie.

We walked outside of his house and made our way to the mall

"I-I'm a bit cold.." I shake under the winter sky.

"Oh! Take my hoodie!" He takes it off and puts it on me

"What about you?" I worry

"I'll be fine," he smiles weakly.

We had finally made it to the mall which to our surprise we saw Kirishima.

"Hey Uraraka, and Deku!" He smiled revealing his pointy teeth. "Why exactly are you wearing his sweatshirt-?" He looked at me puzzled

"Because it's comfy I guess.." I mumble

Izuku laughed awkwardly "We should be on our way," he grabs my hand and walks into a store.

"You can pick whichever dress your wonderful heart desires!" Izuku smiled

I blushed a bit and searched through dresses to find a beautiful red dress with lace at the bottom. I checked the price tag.

"35$.." I sighed and looked nervously at Deku, who was looking at suits.

"D-Deku.." I walk up to him

"I found a really pretty dress but I think it costs too much.." I sigh.

"Well how much is it-?"

"35$.."

He snickered a bit "That isn't very much for a dress as beautiful as that!" He smiled and bot both of us the outfit we picked out.

Me and Deku decided to walk around the mall and find something to do.

"Ooh ice cream!" I smile and walk up to the stand.

"Hm, a couples deal," he smirked

"We aren't a couple," I scoffed

"What they don't know, can't hurt us, plus more ice cream!" He shrugged and bought it.

We shared it and went rummaging through the mall.

We bought a few stuff and went to my house after.

"Deku, why don't you try on your suit!" I smiled

"Okay," he walked into the bathroom and tried it on.

"Let me see!"
"Okay." He walked out wearing a white shirt, red tie, a white jacket, white pants, and white boots.

He looks kinda hot.. I thought to myself.

"I know I look bad." He sighed and changed back to his normal clothes.

After awhile I sat on my bed with Deku and kissed him at random.

His face was redder than hot sauce.

I sat on his lap and held onto him

He kissed my cheek and hugged me.

I felt his warm and welcoming presence.

He took off his shirt and layed down on my bed I layed down next to him

"I love you.." he whispered into my ear.

Imagine hearing those words from your crush! Wow! I was so flustered but I went along with it anyways and cuddled him.

Deku was an amazing friend and I had never seen myself nothing more than just friends.

He kept kissing me and I felt a rush I had never felt before.

He had put his arm around me.

I love you

The words kept playing inside of my head until I slept.
