Promise | Park Jimin

Plot: Park Jimin and Lee Y/N have been dating for a total of two years, but have known each other since middle school. While dating they have experienced problems trusting each other due to Jimin cheating on Y/N with her best friend. Will Jimin continue to break his promise or will he learn from his mistakes?

Flashback

Author P.O.V

Jimin has finally decided to put all of his worries aside and ask Y/N out to be his girlfriend. He is currently waiting for her to come to their secret hiding spot in the park while holding a bouquet of her favorite flowers. After 5 minutes of patiently waiting see runs towards Jimin dressed in a plain white shirt with jeans.

Jimin: *whispers* "Y/N!!! Over here!!!"

Y/N: "Jimin!!! Hey sorry, I'm late. Did you wait for a long time?'

Jimin: "No, I just got here about 5 minutes ago."

Y/N: "So, why did you call me here?"

Jimin suddenly gets nervous from her question. His face starts sweating and his hands shaking from fear of her rejecting his dating proposal.

Y/N: "Jimin, what's wrong, you're all sweating and your hands are trembling. Are you sick?"

Jimin: *stutters* "You see Y/N. Umm. What I want t-t-to tell you is umm. How do I explain this?"

Y/N: "How do you explain what? Come on Jimin, speak normally. If this is one of your useless pranks, I'm leaving."

Y/N starts to get up feeling frustrated from Jimin's actions, but Jimin boldly grabs her arms pulling her down back onto the spot she was previously situated upon.

Jimin: "Be my girlfriend Lee Y/N!!!"

Jimin P.O.V

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I actually said that.

Y/N: "What did you just say? Girlfriend? Are you serious right now Park Jimin?"

Oh no... What if she says no? What am I going to? Gotta say something quickly.

Jimin: "Yeah I'm serious. Why would I joke around with something like this? Do you not want to?"

Y/N: "Sorry. Sorry. YES!!! A b-billion times yes you shortie."

Jimin: "Hey. Hey. Who are you calling shortie? I'm now your boyfriend. You pabo"

Y/N: "Pabo? Who are you calling pabo? Okay fine I'll call you my Chim-chim."

Jimin: "Chhim- Chim? Agreed and I'll call you my honey bun."

Y/N: "Honeybun. How cute. But, you promise me that you won't cheat on me.

Jimin: "Of course, why would I cheat on you my honey bun?"

Y/N: "Pinky promise?" *puts out pinky*

Jimin: "Pinky promise." *connects his pinky with hers*

After connecting our smol pinkies, I give her the bouquet of pink roses and share a kiss. After the mini kiss, I decided to walk her to her house.

It's currently the summer of 2021. Y/N and Jimin graduated high school. Everything has been going well until Y/N discovered something off in their relationship. She has noticed Jimin not hanging out with her for the last 5 months. Whenever she asks to hang out, he would always come with an excuse and not be able to meet up with her. The same thing was applied to her best friend, Seulgi. Seulgi and Y/N have been friends since Freshman year and they've always hung out whenever they need each other's comfort.
