I can feel your heart beating,
and your breathing
aligning with mine.
As I lay in your arms
I think of the day I met you,
snowy and cold December
Opposite of your warm brown eyes
and sunny smile.
As I lay in your arms
I can feel the sun rising
and bright sunlight touching your body,
sometimes I get jealous of it
because I want to touch you every morning
just as the sun does.
As I lay in your arms
I wish I would always
lay in your arms.
