Killian's POV:
"Kane, you need to talk to Beatrice," I said, my voice a silken whisper, laced with a hint of amusement. He looked up from his phone, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Beatrice? What about her?"
"She's Brianna's best friend, isn't she?" I purred, leaning closer, my eyes gleaming with a wicked light. "And Brianna's always been tight with money, especially since her mom's... well, you know."
Kane's eyes narrowed, a flicker of understanding dawning. "You're suggesting we bribe her."
"Not bribe," I corrected, my voice a low chuckle. "We offer her a deal. Thirty grand. She convinces Brianna to come to the game, and she gets the money."
"Thirty grand? That's a lot of money," he said, his voice laced with hesitation. A wave of unease washed over him. He knew this was a risky move, a dangerous game. The stakes are high but I don't care. I need to have Brianna in the game.
"It's worth it," I said, "We need Brianna there. If you wanted And besides, it's not like we're actually giving her the money."
Kane's eyes widened. "What do you mean?"
"We'll make sure she doesn't get it," I said, my voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "We'll chase her, make her run, keep her busy. She'll be too preoccupied to claim the money. She'll be ours for a week."
The words hung in the air, heavy with implications. Kane felt a knot of unease tightening in his stomach. This was a dangerous game, a twisted manipulation of a young woman's desperation. But the thought of winning, of finally achieving the success they craved, was a powerful temptation.
"But what if she doesn't agree?" he asked, his voice laced with doubt. He knew, deep down, that he was already leaning towards the dark side, but he needed to convince himself that this was the only way.
"She will," I said, my confidence growing. "Brianna needs that money. She needs it to help her mom with her medical bills. Beatrice knows it. She'll be willing to do anything to help her friend out. And once she's agreed, it's too late for her to back out. She'll be too invested in the game, too invested in getting that money. She'll be ours."
I could see the wheels turning in Kane's mind. He was hesitant, but the lure to have her for ourselves was too strong to resist. He was torn between his conscience and his ambition, his desire to win and his fear of the consequences. But the wicked twin, the dark side of his nature, was whispering in his ear, urging him to embrace the darkness, to play the game, to win her at any cost.
Kane fishes out his phone from his pocket, probably texting the blonde bimbo.
Brianna will be ours in no time.
"The best way to tame her is to have her think she has it," I thought to myself, a sly smile creeping across my face. "We needed her complete submission. And what better way is to use her mother's financial status for her to submit to us?" The thought of Brianna, desperate and vulnerable, under our control, sent a thrill of excitement through me. This was going to be good. This was going to be fun.

The wind whipped through the pines, carrying the scent of damp earth and pine needles. It was a scent I knew well, a scent that always brought a thrill to my heart. There's nothing more thrilling than the chase. Actually, no. The chase is exhilarating, but capturing your prey between your bare teeth while they beg for you to release them? That's the real rush.
I remember the first time I truly understood that feeling. I was ten years old, and my father had taken me out on my first deer hunt. We'd been tracking a buck for hours, the crisp autumn air biting at our faces. I was cold, my fingers numb, but the excitement kept me going.
