Kane's POV

The scent of pine needles and damp earth filled my nostrils as I stalked through the woods, the rustle of leaves a symphony to my ears. My prey, a delicate, trembling creature, was somewhere ahead, her fear of a sweet, intoxicating aroma. I'd let her run free in these woods for too long, a scared little rabbit, her energy sapped by endless hours in the library instead of the gym. But I knew her fight was still there, simmering beneath the surface.

"I've got you, little mouse," I murmured, my voice a low growl. "Calm down so I can look at my pretty prize."

I reached out, my hand brushing against her soft, plush fur. She flinched, her eyes wide with terror. A screech ripped from her throat, a desperate cry that sent a thrill of anticipation through me. Her tiny legs kicked against my knees, a futile attempt to break free.

I tightened my grip, savoring her struggle. "You're a fighter, little mouse," I said, my voice a purr of amusement. "But you're mine now. And you're going to be mine for a long, long time."

Her body trembled in my arms, her muscles strained, her energy waning. I could feel her fight slipping away, replaced by a desperate hope that I would let her go. But I wouldn't. I wouldn't give her that satisfaction.

"Killian," I called out, my voice echoing through the trees. "Come here."

A moment later, Killian emerged from the shadows, his face a mask of curiosity. "What is it, Kane?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint of amusement.

"Come closer," I said, my grip tightening on the struggling creature in my arms. "I want you to see her."

Killian stepped closer, his gaze falling on the terrified woman in my arms. "She's... beautiful," he said, his voice filled with a strange mix of awe and lust.

"She is," I agreed, a smile playing on my lips. "But she's ours. And we're going to make her ours in every way."

Killian chuckled, a low, guttural sound. "You're a ruthless one, Kane," he said. "But I have to admit, I'm intrigued. How do you plan to break her?"

"Slowly," I said, my eyes burning with a possessive fire. "Very slowly. And we'll share her, brother. We'll make her ours together."

Killian's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Yes, Kane," he said, his voice a low growl. "Together."

I leaned closer to the woman in my arms, her fear of a sweet, intoxicating scent. "We're going to make you ours, little mouse," I whispered, my voice a promise and a threat. "And when we're done with you, you won't even remember what it was like to be free."

"Shh..." I whisper, my voice a low, rumbling growl that vibrates against her skin. "Relax, darling. I'm not going to hurt you... not yet."

She sags against me, her body trembling, almost sending us both tumbling back into the dirt. "You've chased me through these woods in the darkness," she gasps, her voice a ragged whisper. "Like I'm some kind of animal. How can I believe you won't hurt me?"

My heart thrummed with a primal satisfaction. She was afraid, so very afraid. It was intoxicating. I run my nose along her neck, the scent of her fear, mingled with sweat and pine needles, a heady cocktail.

"Well, what if I promise pleasure along with the pain?" I purr, my voice a husky caress, a promise laced with danger.

I can feel her flinch, her body stiffening against mine. It's a game, I realize. A game of power and control. I want to see her eyes widen, to hear her gasp, to feel her surrender.
