Zer0 the assassin

Chapter 2. Zer0s first encounter

As Zer0 approached the train station he noticed something fall from the sky. It was another ship! It crashed right in front of him. Zer0 instantly deployed his hologram and ran behind some rocks. The ship door opened and a girl appeared from it. Zer0 noticed the blue tattoos over her body and at once knew she was a siren. Zero thought to himself in haiku /A new challenge has approached/must destroy my enemy/. Zer0 knew at once this would be a dangerous task as the siren could phaseblast him in the air and be shot at. He would have no chance of surviving that one. As he was about to deploy his hologram he took a good look at her and realised she was stunning. A beautiful girl. Zer0 had never thought this way about someone and was confused. Did he like her? He spoke to himself in haiku /must destroy target/ No I can't something is holding me back/ this feeling will get you killed you must pay attention to yourself otherwise you die/. Zer0 didn't know what to do. After the Siren had had a look around she started to walk into the station. He thought that maybe his haiku was right and he must kill the Siren so he deployed his hologram and ran past the Siren. The Siren heard the noise and turned around firing a Hyperion sub machine gun into the fake body. Once the body disappeared she was confused but didn't have time to think it through. At that second Zer0 grabbed her and pushed her to the ground and put his sword to her neck. He looked into her eyes through his visor. They were beautiful he thought. They were bright purple and shined in the light. He couldn't do it. He pulled back his sword and stood her up. At once as she was on her feet the siren phaseblasted Zer0 and fired two shots into him. Zer0 fell to the ground in pain and held his wounds. The Siren walked up to him and kicked him in his ribs. "That's what you get you holographic freak!" She screamed. "I intended to kill you siren but chose to let you go. I could have sliced you wide open but didn't you should say thank you" Zer0 said. Suddenly the Siren pulled out a Malliwan pistol pointed it to Zer0s head and said "I intend to kill you bandit scum". "I would not dare Siren". At that moment the Siren pulled the trigger but nothing happened but a click that echoed in the air. "For fucks sake, no ammo" the siren said. Then two bandits appeared from no where and opened fire on the Siren. She took cover behind the wall and shot her last bullets in her sub machine gun into one of the bandits that killed him instantly but now she was out and the other bandit knew it. He pulled out his axe and ran over to her. He grabbed her pushed her to the ground and raised his axe. Zer0 thought to himself in haiku /I can't let her die/ She will just drag you down/ I'll take my chances/. Even though Zer0 was in pain he stood up and charged at the bandit. Zer0 knocked him to the ground and stomped him hard in his face. He then grabbed his sword and sliced the bandit in two. The bandits body twitched for a moment then suddenly stopped. He was dead. Zer0s first kill. Zer0 looked at the Siren who was in shock and said "are you alright" . "Yeah thanks to you.....assassin". "Call me Zer0". "Cool" the siren said "call me Maya". They both stared at each other and then Maya looked at Zer0 and saw his wounds"need help with that? She said. "Yes" he said. As he walked towards Maya he fell down and cried in pain. Maya ran up to him and pulled him up and lay him down on a Hyperion crate. "Thanks" Zer0 said while displaying a <3 on his visor. "No Problem" Maya said. And with that Maya got to work on Zer0s bullet wounds.
