Even today people, and scientist argue over what type of shark was the man-eater of 1916 Great White of Bull Shark. A man named Michael schleisser caught a 7.5 foot 325 pound great white shark fishing a couple miles away from Matawan creek. He then cut it open and found bone and flesh. He claims that his shark is the man eater for after he caught the shark no one else had been attacked.
