However, at the end of the day – or in this case, at the beginning of the day – they had to face the consequences of their actions. Gulf was staring at Mew for a few minutes now, thinking about what to say or do. His own body was starting to scare him: he had to stop his hands that very morning from stroking Mew's soft hair and his lips from...well, his lips were still swollen from the night before. They had kissed so much he could still feel the taste of his mouth on his. He actually didn't even remember when they stopped and fell asleep. "Like what you see?".
Mew's eyes were still closed but his lips curled into the most amazing smile. Gulf's eyes went wide, embarrassed to have been caught red-handed. Again. He cleared his throat, turning his back on him and sitting on his side of the bed. A few seconds later he felt his strong arms around his waist, his chin resting on Gulf's shoulder. "Hey, I was kidding. Kinda". He gently brushed his lips against his neck and Gulf could already feel his entire body reacting to him. Then Mew touched Gulf's chin, turning it in his direction. "Why are you not looking at me?". Gulf swallowed hard, this closeness making him nervous. Mew came even closer, their noses almost touching. "Are you getting shy because of what happened yesterday?". Gulf quickly looked away, feeling his face burn already. Fuck, fuck, fuck. "I don't know what you're talking about". Mew grinned, making him lay his back on the mattress again. "Do you want me to refresh your memory?". Mew ran his thumb on his lower lip, enjoying this little game way too much. Gulf managed to escape him, catching his breath. "There's no need to. In fact, we should...forget about it". Mew stared at him, he wasn't surprised but maybe a little disappointed. He touched his hips, pulling him closer. "What if I can't get it out of my head?". Gulf gasped, lost for words. "I...".
Someone opened his bedroom's door abruptly, making Gulf pull away from Mew very quickly. Gulf didn't know whether to be relieved or not by his sister's interruption. Grace looked at them, her head resting on the door frame. "Well, well. If it isn't Mew Suppasit. I've heard so much about you". Gulf noticed the smirk on Mew's face, even if he was trying to hide it. "Yes, it's me. You must be Grace". They shook hands, his sister throwing glances at him. "I see you're feeling better this morning. Does it have anything to do with your friend?". Gulf rolled his eyes, thinking about how to kill his sister later. "Don't you have to prepare for school?". Grace chuckled, squeezing her brother's cheeks. "I'm ready. You, on the other hand...". She looked at their outfts and got enough close to her brother, so only he could hear: "Next time he crashes here remind me to suggest you something sexier than this...". Gulf's whole face turned red. "GRACE".
She waved at Mew, pulling away from her brother. "Breakfast's ready if you want but hurry". Gulf snorted, hearing Mew's laugh on the background. "Please, not you too". Gulf opened his wardrobe, looking for something to put on, while at the same time keeping himself busy. When he turned to Mew, he was half naked, putting on his clothes from the night before. Gulf swallowed, really trying to look at everything but him. "What are you doing?". Mew finished getting dressed, a crooked smile on his face. "Well, I'm getting dressed. Why? Am I distracting you?". Gulf stopped him from getting any closer. "I'm going downstairs". He put on his sweatshirt in the middle of the stairs, bumping into his parents in the kitchen. "Good morning, sweetie. Your sister just told me we have a guest?". Gulf glared at Grace, who was feigning innocence while drinking her orange juice. "Yes, he came to see me yesterday and I told him to stay over since it was late". His mother smiled widely, watching Mew coming down the stairs too. He immediately greeted them, bowing respectfully with his hands together. "Nice to meet you and sorry for intruding like this. Your son was nice enough to let me stay for the night". Gulf secretly looked at him, so smiling and radiant with his parents. He watched his dad patting his shoulder. "That's all right, son. We're happy Gulf is making friends now". Oh God, now even his dad was making him sound so lame. "Yeah, very close ones". Grace giggled, running away from Gulf. "Mew, it's late, we should go". Gulf had never been so eager to go to school. He grabbed something for them to eat on the way, quickly kissing the cheeks of his mother and father. He caught Mew smiling at them, moved by the scene before him. "Next time make him stay longer, so we'll get to know him better!". Gulf blushed at his father shouting, while his sister was putting on her jacket before going out too. "Don't worry dad, it will definitely not be the last time you'll see Mew here". And she was certainly right about this.
