Chapter ONe∾

Her dark red hair was flowing wildly as she was hiding from her pibling (one of her parent's non-binary siblings). It wasn't known to her that her pibling could see her hair wrapping around the other side of the tree.
Careful not to make themselves present on the other side of the tree as the girl, they stepped over each colorful leaf being careful not to step on one.

"Gotcha, Aurelia!" Amend pinned the girl to the tree.
Smirking the girl, Aurelia, went to knee Amend in the stomach but stopped in her tracks after feeling her hands being let go. Just as soon as the hands pinning her left wrist they were under her armpits.

"Amend," Aurelia shrieked while laughing. "Stop, please."
"Should have thought about that before pushing me off the cliff, girly." They laughed as well.

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry. But please stop," she managed to say, hardly breathing, "I have to tell you something."

Amend stopped tickling her and flopped onto the ground, "What's up, Kid?"
Laying on the ground alongside her pibling "I'd prefer to be called Aurelius instead of Aurelia," she said warily.

Sitting up, Amend looked at their niece, maybe nephew, "Do you want me to call you Aurelius?"
"I'd appreciate it, Amend," The one-hundred-year-old demon shut their eyes shut tight afraid of the next answer, "and he, him pronouns?"

Amend sat up and faced their nephew up, "Of course, anything for you, Aurelius." Amend looked away into the distance. "Have you told your mother or father yet?" Aurelius shook his head.

"Can we go cut my hair?" He said excitedly.

"Of course! Let's go, Kid." Amend stated in a tone as if it was obvious.

Standing in the mirror looking at himself he felt lighter, happier.

"What do you think, Kid?" Amend says looking down at him.
Aurelius was speechless. Finally being able to say something, "Wow," was all that came out.
Amend chuckled, "Wow indeed."

Turning around Aurelius gave his pibling a big hug. "Thank you so much, I couldn't ask for anyone better."

"Thanks, Kid. I have to go finish up some stuff. I think you should go call your parents and tell them."

"Alright," the boy skipped off to call his parents.

Amend walked to their office to do some work.

Now that everyone is occupied why not introduce you to Amend.

Amend is a demon, more specifically the Caln of demons. What's a caln you may ask? No, it's not some demon thing, it's a non-binary king or queen. Amend is a gender-fluid demon. They, Amend, can also be summoned by a human. No other supernatural creature can summon Summoning Demons for a gaining purpose. (A demon ruler is called a monarch).

There was a knock at Amend's office door. In response Amend called back, "Who is it?"

"Cornelius, Your Majesty," the man said from the other side of the door.

"You may come in," Amend said.

Cornelius opened the grand doors to the demon caln's temporary office. Once he reached Amend's desk he bowed his head. "Caln Amend, there's been a massacre."
Sparking Amend's interest they lifted their head to face Cornelius, "You may lift your head, Cornelius. Where was it?"
