Its been four weeks since after my brothers graduation and now we are back to school from holidays. My brother just gained admission for a higher diploma while I got a pass to my final year class. As for my sister Riana,she's be on with travels for school projects, I really miss her tho.
I'm seating in class,patiently waiting for the next class when Aisha rushes to my seat with a smile all over her face.
"Hmm..so what's the news now Aisha"
"I heard a hottie is coming to our class,I'm you haven't seen him"
"Goddd,you never change with your attraction for new students,you still wanna do this in our last year"
"At least its better than keeping quiet over what happened at grad"
"Come on Aisha we already talked about this,I'm over that now,don't change the subject okay"
" Don't act like ya not curious to meet him"Layah intrudes in our discussion
"Even you too...okay where's he?"
"Just look behind you,you came late and missed the introduction" Layah says this and then I turn my back to see a fair confused looking boy seating with some girls drooling over him. I turn my face forward to see Aisha smiling at me in a cunny way.
"Aisha what!!!"
"Tell me you didn't like what you saw, of course you can't say that"
"Well then I don't, all I see is a confused looking weird fellow"
"Such a kill joy,he's my clear definition of an idea man" Aisha says this dreamingly
"I see..so what happens to joys crush?"
"Two can play" Aisha says this with a smirk
'Ready to compete with Piper then"
"I've always wanted there layah"
"Then I'll gladly buy a popcorn and watch the show"
(Laughs)"Let's get seated okay" I and Aisha decided to seat close yo each other since final year student are allowed to make their own choices. Our next teacher comes in to take us math and ..surprisingly today's class is fast as it's already time for lunch.
I head to my usual spot to await Perry and the rest but the new boy is already seated there. I'm about moving to the next seat when he calls me.I walk up to him looking surprised.
"You know my name?" I ask in a surprise tone
"Mira Browne;face of the school magazine, book worm,lil social activity,every guys need but still single,gets bullied and gives no shit. Oh yes,you got so much fans spilling your details"
"Well..I'm not the face of school magazine, I just have few of my works in it. I'm not every guys need,ion get bullied, I just let things slide and most importantly, I'm not a book worm"
"Oh. Well if you say so. Do you mind seating with me for lunch?"
"Yeah ,sure"
"So..what other thing is there to Mira Browne that ion know"
"Hmm ...you'll see your self"
