10. Italian Restaurant

"I knew he was lying, he is a liar, and that's the fact!" Oindri banged her hands on the slab of the kitchen area making you flinch. You were cooking some experimental Italian dish which you couldn't even pronounce, rather you were forced to cook that dish because your best friend told you so.

You told her everything that has happened in the past few days except the Taehyung part. You wanted to tell her but you felt this is not the right time. You wanted to tell her you felt some connection towards a person other than Jun. A person who has seen you in your most vulnerable state. You felt some affection towards Taehyung. May be he is just a little crush of yours.  But he us an idol and he's gonna go back to Korea once the event is over and never gonna contact me again, so there is no point of declaring this feeling to any other person.

"Hello, excuse me, are you trying burn my 'Parmigiana Melanzane'?" You got out of that thinking trance because of her question. "Try to cook by yourself, and why even do you want to eat this now? I can't any more, I can't even pronounce this correctly, and I think I already burnt this." you said that all to quickly. Oindri got up from her chair and looked at the dish. Still hovering her head over the dish she told "Yeah, no way I am gonna eat this now, this looks gross rather than exotic" she paused, turning her head towards you she said again "Let's go eat somewhere, please?" She made those puppy eyes and obviously you said yes.

"So, I am craving some delicious Italian food, but since you can not cook, don't even make me start about my cooking skills, I want to go to this restaurant, which is just 30 mins away." She was looking down at her phone, probably searching for the exact address of the restaurant. "Got it, look at the map, I think you know the way" she moved her hand towards you to give you the phone. You took the phone from her hand and went to sit down on a chair beside the table.

"But Oin this restaurant is too expensive, look at the menu, everything is super expensive" you knew that spending a lot of money on food is luxury for both of you and that is not necessary.

"Y/N, don't worry" she pointed on the screen and said "look at this, I want to eat this and this is not so expensive, this dish is really good, we will just eat this if you want to" you nodded. She came to Singapore all the way from India because you were in trouble and she wanted to have dinner with you in a restaurant of her choice so it was a big yes. You wanted to enjoy every moment with best friend happily.

"So then, go get dressed and look sexy!" Saying she rushed towards the bathroom. You laughed thinking how childish your best friend is.

"Y/N, take right" she gestured her hands towards the right lane. You were driving the car for past 35 minuites. There was normal traffic but the restaurant was located at a slightly isolated area. You visited this place once before, so you were not sure about the directions that is why it took some extra time to reach the location. "And, here we are!" She literally jumped out of the car in excitement.

"Wow, this place is luxurious AF!" She emphasized on the last word. It was really a luxurious looking restaurant. There were glass walls, the interior was decorated with plants. Colour themes were basically based on white and greens and other earthy colours. Some fancy lights were hanging from the high ceiling. There were not too many people inside. It was a peaceful place.

"Ma'am table for?" A guy dressed in light maroon suit asked Oindri. "For two" she made a victory sign with her right hand towards the guy. "Come here ma'am" he beckoned us towards the furthest corner of the restuarant. You were about to object about the corner area but you stopped when the sitting area caught you eye. There was a table in the corner surrounded by glass walls. It was a L-shaped seating area, where there were plenty of cushions placed. Fairy lights were hanging from the fake plants which were also hanging from the ceiling. When you looked outside, there was a lake right beside the restaurant and the clear sky with stars and a full moon. You could see the reflection of  the sky in the water. It was cozy and comfortable.

"Wow, this is cute" Oindri said clapping her hands in excitement. "Ma'am, let us know your order after deciding by just pressing this button." He pointed towards a blue button beside the table and left. "We already know what to order but let's just sit and absorb this environment, what ya say?" She nodded at your statement. "This is super cute" she took out her phone from her pocket and started clicking pictures of the place from different angles.

"Oh just wait, I have to go the washroom super quick" you stood up from the sofa.

The place was so nice that you thought how nice it would have been if you came here with Jun. You sighed. You were too lost in your thoughts that you forgot to ask someone where is the washroom. Basically lost in that big restaurant you tried to locate one waiter, but there was know one. You were walking backwards trying to find anyone near the reception area. Suddenly you bumped into someone. You quickly about turned and started apologizing without even looking at the person. "Oh my god, I am extremely sorry, I didn't.."

"Y/N, what are you doing here?"

"Ta-Taehyung, what are YOU doing h-here?"
