Y/N POV

*beep beep beep beep*

I wine as I hear my alarm clock go off.

My sleep schedule sucks because I have no self-control over when I get off my phone at night.

I roll over to my side table and turn off the blaring alarm I set for 6:30

Realizing the events that are about to take place, my eyes are shot open.

Quirk recommendations prelims.

I threw on a big t-shirt and some ripped jeans. Then, I quickly fixed my h/c hair and threw on my f/shoes and dashed down the stairs.

I look at the clock 7:45 Holy shit it starts in 15 minutes.
WASNT IT JUST 6:30?!?!?

At this point I'm PANICKING.

U-A is a 10 minute walk from here so if i leave right now i might make it in time. I look around for my parents who should be awake but are still snoozing away. I shrug it off thinking nothing of it, quickly write a note to my parents and rush out of the house.

Y/Ns parents POV

"Hey was that y/n just now?" your mother sat up shaking your dad awake. "I don't think so, it's still 6:45" your dad murmured.

"Hey did we ever tell her that the clock in the living room is broken?" your mom whispered.

Your dad looked up.

"Shit"

Y/N POV

I'm too scared to look at the time as I dash by people to get to U-A.

im so late im so late im so late im so late.

When I came up to the entrance there was not a single soul here.

SHIT IT ALREADY STARTED!??! I'M GOING TO SOB- my knees buckled and I just laid my head in my hands until I felt a soft tap on my shoulder.

I turn and look at the half white and half red haired boy.

"Um, hello?" he said, cocking his head.

"You're late too?? I'm such a clutz. It felt like it was 6:30 like 20 minutes ago and now we are late, look at us- future hero's being late- this sucks" I stutter out

"Maybe because it was 6:30 20 minutes ago.." he says bluntly.

I shot him a glance and scurred to get my phone out of my pocket, almost dropping it in the process.

"6:50"

i think i'm going to pass  out-

"youre an hour early" he said bluntly again.

It felt like stabs were going through me everytime he pointed out my mistakes.

"Soooooooooo... you're here early too then ahaha because i totally came this early on purpose ahaha ANYWHO i'm y/n l/n.'' I say standing up
