Chapter 4 (Kyle)

God Annabeth looked as beautiful as ever. Her blonde hair flowed so naturally as it formed beautiful curls. It had a grey streak on the side which I thought made her unique (I hate writing this bit) She had incredible curves in the right places, but nothing overzealous or fake. Her beautiful lips and gorgeous eyes that always sparkled when she saw me. I loved Annabeth. And I knew she loved me. She always laughed when I said something funny and we were best friends. She always turned people down saying that she has a special someone. I think that it is me, really. I mean we definitely have some sort of connection and I think she can feel it too.

I saw her walking towards us. By us I mean Charlotte, Jennifer and Jenifer's boyfriend Simon. Charlotte was about 5'5. Me and Simon were 5'9. Me and Simon were both dark haired. However while he had light brown eyes, I had electric blue eyes. we had different builds as well, he was tall and lanky while I was tall but a little bit meatier with a four-pack. I was wearing a red hoodie that was opened up with a zip, where I wore a black shirt and normal jeans. Simon was wearing a green t-shirt and black trackies. I realized Jenifer was wearing his black hoodie and I almost let out a laugh. she was a brunet like Charlotte but a hell of a lot shorter as she only went up to Simons chin. She and Charlotte had green eyes that looked like emeralds. They looked so similar because they were siblings.

Anyway Annabeth ran towards us and I let out a small sigh. She was beautiful. She talked to us about timetables and I realized we had almost identical lessons. I told her this and she said "Great"

I saw a tall guy walk towards us. He had raven black hair that was a mess. he had sea green eyes and looked pretty well built. I realized he was looking at Annabeth. I was waiting for him to hit on her. But instead he came behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach just below her chest. She looked shocked and I waited for her to flip him but she let out a couple words.

"Hey seaweed brain" my heart took a dive.

"How'd you know it was me"

I know how your arms feel and you smell like the sea" she stated and turned around and gave him a tight hug. She then seemed to realize we were here and said "Hey guys this is Percy" as we all introduced each other I realized he also had a grey streak in his hair. I wondered how long he had known Annabeth. Probably not as long as I had. I had known her for 2 years. But when Annabeth's back was turned I could see lust in his eyes. He was competition. Shit. I saw a tattoo on his scar riddled arm. Wait scar riddle arm, TATTOO?

" Wait you have a tattoo" I stated

"Long, long, long story" he said with a grin.

"What about all those scars" I questioned

"He is very unlucky" Annabeth said gleefully.

"Yeah but so are you". "Like twice, we better not have one more or I swear to the gods I'll-" he said to Annabeth but she cupped his mouth with her hand. after second she flinched back and said" Yuck you licked me" I looked back at him with his tongue stuck between his teeth and a wide smile on his face. he but his tongue back in his mouth as they burst out laughing. the rest of us just stood there.

"Sorry inside joke" he said while wheezing

The bell rang to break our uncomfortable silence. And we headed to class.
