Sky is probably going to hurt me for this title... oh well. Enjoy!

Ten minutes later, I was officially frustrated. Miss 'All-powerful-Chaos-kid' was evidently pretty good at disappearing off the face of the earth- I had checked the Zeus cabin, the arena, the pavilion, the amphitheater, the beach, the commons, the climbing wall, the lake, the stables, and even the kitchens. I was walking past the Hephaestus cabin, silently fuming, when I felt a crackle of raw power.

I immediately perked up, my muscles tensing. It wasn't like anything I had ever felt before, but I recognized it instantly. There was only one person in camp right now who could generate that kind of power- Mrs. Lightning Face herself.

"... Going to see if the Athena cabin wanted to team up with the Zeus cabin," I heard Jason saying, followed by a "Sure," that most likely came from Annabeth.

I shivered. If those two cabins got together, my cabin had better be on their team, too- I didn't feel like dying during this week's Capture the Flag.

I poked my head into the cabin, locating- finally!- my new cousin. "Chiron needs you, Sky."

She grinned at me, standing up. "Okay." Turning to Jason and Annabeth, she added, "I'll be back for a taco."

As we were leaving, I looked back and sent a wink in Jason and Annabeth's direction, silently laughing as they leaned away from me. Please keep in mind that I lived in the Hermes cabin for four years- Travis and Connor Stoll are like my brothers (they're two of my best friends), so over time I've become rather notorious for pranks... and with the grand reveal of my Hades powers, incorporating skeletons and the occasional zombie into those pranks was simply too easy. Meaning that everyone in camp was frightened of me for some reason or another~ I'm sure the skeletal spiders in Annabeth's architecture bag and the hot pink dye that 'accidentally' made its way into Jason's shampoo bottle had something to do with the rather frightened expressions they were sending me now.

The second we left the building, Sky burst into laughter. "What in the name of Hades did you do to make those two so scared of you?" she managed, still laughing.

I shrugged, another troublemaking grin stretching across my face. Sky gave me a look of utter skepticism, but didn't press for more. Eh. She'd find out eventually. I vaguely wondered what would happen if I tricked her into putting a fork in an electric socket, but shoved the thought away. I'd have plenty of time to find out... later. For now, a meeting was in order.

Chiron was standing on the porch of the big house, smiling at us despite the dark circles under his eyes. "I see you've met Cici, daughter of Hades." Sky nodded, ignoring the rather pointed glance Chiron had sent me. No pranking her. She's new.

But Chiron!

Absolutely not.

I sighed- the old horse was much too good at reading my thoughts. I could have sworn he smirked at me before looking back to Sky. "Let's go, dear child. We have much to discuss."

Sky had nearly reached the door when she realized that I hadn't moved. "Uh, you're coming with, Death Breath," she ordered, turning around to look at me.

"Death Breath?" I grumbled. She nodded, and I rolled my eyes. She was halfway up the stairs when I added a quiet, "Little miss thundercloud."

She turned back to me, an eyebrow raised. I just stared at her, my eyes sparking- there was no way in my father's name that I was about to back down from this. Then she chuckled, and something in her eyes changed. The slightest shift, but it was there. I couldn't help but smirk as I followed her up the stairs- I knew I'd made a friend.
