"Yes, I'm going to your party." I affirmed Mingyu for the nth time, as he kept on calling me. "I'm just making sure. You never know, you'll ditch me again." His voice laced hatred and disappointment, making me feel bad.

"I will, Mingyu. You can even tie me to yourself so that I won't escape." I joked as Mingyu slightly chuckles. "I have handcuffs here,"

"OI I WAS JOKING!" I felt flustered as I heard metal clanking from Mingyu's line. He laughs at me before saying goodbye and ending the call.

I scratched the back of my neck as I continue to get ready. Just as I put my phone down, I hear a familiar patterned vibrate fron my phone. It was from Minghao. I eyed my phone, wondering if he was going to ask to hang out.

"I'm checking that later, you better be patient this time." I cursed at my phone, pointing my index finger at it, as I turn around to change my clothes to something more appropriate for a party.

As I sit in the bus, I pulled out my phone to check Minghao's messages from earlier.

Before he could reply, I stuffed my phone in my pocket as I finally arrive in front of Mingyu's house. I hastily dialed his number to make sure I was at the right location this time. "Mingyu."

"I'm outside." I see another group of teens heading my way, making me freeze by the slightest. It seemed like they were also going to Mingyu's party.

"Ah, really? Hold on a sec," I hear people talking in the background as the door in front of me swung open. "Y/N." A smile crawled onto Mingyu's face at the sight of me. After all, I actually didn't ditch him this time.

"Hey." I hear a deep voice from behind making me look at the owner of the voice. "Oh, Wonwoo." Mingyu's gaze shifted to the group, his smile softening.

"Come on in." Mingyu stepped aside as I gratefully entered, immediately loving the upbeat vibe of the place. "Y/N, go talk to Wonwoo, I promise they're nice. I'll be back." Mingyu suddenly left me alone before I could complain to him.

I liked parties, but not when I have to converse with people I barely know.

"You already probably heard from Mingyu, I'm Wonwoo. You're Y/N, right? Gyu talks about you a lot." He initiates the conversation, making me look at him. I was slightly flustered at the mention of my name, and the fact that Mingyu talks about me.

"Yeah... I'm Y/N..." I hesitantly nodded as a deep laugh came from him. "You're an awkward one, aren't you?"

"Sup, I'm Joshua." A gentleman looking guy reached his hand out to me, to which I gratefully accepted. "Seungcheol." Seungcheol clicked his tongue as he sent me a finger gun. I let out a small laugh at his charismatic actions. They both seemed like people I could trust. They gave off comfy vibes.

"This is Minho." Wonwoo pointed to a guy besides him. I didn't know why, but I felt uncomfortable at the sight of him. I felt shivers go down through-out my whole body. It was awful.

"Nice to meet you..." I forced a smile as he grabs my hand a little too tightly. It was a shame they didn't notice my uneasiness.

"Should we go for drinks, yeah?" I tried to shake off my uneasiness. "I'm skipping on alcohol." I reply, putting my guard up. The last thing I would want to happen is getting drunk with people I don't know.

"That's fine. I'm also not drinking." Joshua smiles, putting his hand up. We head to the kitchen and got ourselves what we wanted. I ended up with just apple juice, also holding onto my cup tightly.

We started a friendly chat, and we were starting to be close to each other. I was comfortable with everyone else except Minho. He gave off a creepy vibe that I didn't like one bit. He was being too... Close.

"I'm heading to the bathroom." I stood up from my seat, as Joshua grabs my cup. "I'll make sure your drink is safe." He assured me as I thanked him before going to my destination.

If only Minho wasn't there. I liked everybody except him. He made the atmosphere heavy and I hated it. I closed the door and let out a deep breathe. I pulled out my phone, seeing  a message from Minghao.

.

minghao
youre doing well, right?

.

I didn't answer him and only decided to go back, constantly reminding myself not to drink from my cup, just in case it was touched. I trusted them, but not to that point. It's only right that I set the line.

"Aye, you're back." Seungcheol greeted, ushering me to sit back down. "Chips?" Wonwoo offered, to which I nodded to. Taking one from the bag, I immediately put it in my mouth.

"Fuck, it's spicy!" Spicy food wasn't my forte. In fact, it was my weakness. I didn't like spicy food one bit. Without thinking, I grabbed the cup nearest to me, which I thought was mine.

I gulped the contents down, eager to remove the burning sensation. Only to realize that the taste was different and it was in fact, NOT apple juice.

"Shit, they downed the alcohol..."
