"M- My phone's ringing."

I push him off, grabbing my phone from the bedside table and answering the call.

"Y/N, I wanna talk."

I sit up properly, getting ready to listen. I could feel Minghao moving behind me but I ignored him.

"Go ahead, talk." I ushered him to speak as I felt arms wrap around my torso from behind me. I froze as I swore I felt my heart beat faster at his touch.

"Can we meet up? I don't think I can tell you this over the phone."

I frowned, as I felt Minghao's arms tighten around me. He definitely heard him. "That's what you said earlier too. Mingyu, I'm tired."

"That's why I'm outside your apartment."

My eyes widened as I turned around, facing Minghao. He looked as shocked as me. "What do I do?" I mouthed to him as he retracted his arms, shrugging his shoulders.

"Mingyu, I- I'm not home."

Mingyu seemed taken aback from my response. "Y- You're not? Then where are you?" I looked at Minghao, my eyes screaming for help.

Minghao looks at me with an irritated expression, "Say it," He mouths as I furrowed my eyebrows, shaking my head. "Just tell him," He whispers, as I shake my head again. I can't just tell Mingyu that I slept in someone's else's house.

"Y/N, you– really..." I felt my heart drop as he spoke in a normal volume. I glared at Minghao, hitting his shoulder.

"Oh, so you're with... him."

"Yeah... I'll be over later." I blurted out, ending the call as Minghao looks at me in disbelief.

"You're really going there?" Minghao scoffs, anger evident in his eyes. "I am. What are you gonna do about it?" I raised my eyebrow, still mad about the fact that Minghao revealed himself to Mingyu.

"I'll tie you up so you can't go anywhere." I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out of my mouth. I would normally feel flustered but not at this time when I'm overwhelmed with anger.

"Shut the fuck up, Xu Minghao." I fumed, pushing him off me. His face expressions softened as he heard me say his full name.

"Why are you so mad?" Minghao huffs, looking at me with soft eyes to try and calm me down. Though, it wasn't exactly working. "It's not like you have anything with Mingyu. It's best to tell him that we're together now rather than letting him have hope." He shrugs his shoulders as I frown.

"Mingyu and I are just friends, Minghao. I wanted to tell him myself." I sulked, my angry mood dropping as I flopped onto the bed, face first.

"I hate you." I cried, as I felt a hand on my back.

"Okay fine, I'm sorry, don't be such a baby." As I heard his apology, I laid on my back as I watch Minghao stare at me like I'll disappear any second.

"You're still a jerk." I glare at him as he remained silent, still staring at me with those eyes of his. My glare slowly softens, as I felt slightly inferior from his gase.

"Stop it with the staring." I huffed as his calm and serious expression turned into an enthusiastic one. Minghao let out a small laugh, so contagious that it made me smile.

"How can I, when you're so cute?" My smile faded away and was replaced with a frown. I push him off the bed, a disgusted look on my face.

"Don't fucking flirt with me." I pointed a finger at him as he groans in pain, his back on the floor with his right leg on the bed and the other on the floor.

"That hurt." Minghao complains as I scoff, as I watch him slowly sit up. "You deserved it." I huff, watching as he got up, a small smile on his face.

"Wait what are you planni–" I waa cut off as I felt him throw himself on my body, causing the both of us to roll on the bed.

"You– You jerk..." I broke out into laughter as he holds me, tight in his arms.

"Correction; your jerk." I raised my eyebrow at his words, as I feel his arms tighten around me.

"Okay fine, my jerk." I snicker, snuggling into the comfort of his touch. I closed my eyes, liking how he gave me the warmth that nobody ever gave me. "But you're still a jerk."

"Wow, you're never giving that up, aren't you?"

"Not until the day I die."
