Zodiac School of Gifted Children Year 2

The First Morning

Early in the morning a blaring alarm sounded off all throughout the school promptly at 6am waking every student up. This was one of the new features added into the school building after the remodel.

Not a single sign was happy about this change except Virgo and Aquarius who had already been up before the alarm. The most disturbed sign was Taurus who had gone to bed at 4:30am. He had more bags under his eyes than the amount of bags stuffed in the bag of bags in the pantry.

The air signs were up and out of their dorm at 6:30 directed by Aquarius. Libra stretched her arms high up with a giant yawn. "Don't classes start at 7:30?"

"Yeah they do but I went to the cafeteria yesterday and it said they serve breakfast from 6 to 7. Do you know how many dishes we can save if we just use the cafeterias dishes! That's an entire meal saved of plates and silverware." Aquarius said excitedly. She was unusually perky this morning. Her secret to her energy was taking her sleeping meds at 5pm and promptly passing out the moment she entered the air sign dorm the night before. Directly in the doorway too.

When the air signs got to the cafeteria they could smell the sweet delicacies of bacon, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and other breakfast items being made. All of them perked up and moved at top speed to find the source of the smell. Moving like a pack of hungry street dogs they found the buffet of food and was happily treated to a big great breakfast of their pickings. For the next 30 minutes the group pigged out and chatted about the day ahead.

For the earth and water signs they had a different plan for breakfast. The two best cooks, Virgo and Cancer, combined their amazing cooking skills to make a giant omelette that could feed a village.

"Virgo you need to team up with Cancer more often this is so good!" Pisces was stuffing his mouth rapidly barely being able to get his words out. Scorpio silently nodded in agreement eating just as fast but a little more elegantly.

"This was a nightmare to make I hope to never do it again actually." Virgo sat down exhausted at the table. She could barely keep her head up now. Within a few minutes she was sleeping at the table. Everyone knew not to disturb her.

Taurus was also near complete exhaustion. The only fuel he was running on was his love for food. Sitting next to Capricorn he was leaning against her. Over the summer the two had been talking near daily and ended up in a full blown serious relationship.

Cancer was the last to sit down as she had cleaned up. By the time she got to eat her food was cold. With a sigh she sucked it up and ate her cold omelette instantly ending up in a cloudy gloom so whole others talked happily about the day she gloomily poked at her omelette.

Meanwhile in the fire dorm there was constant chaos which was always expected. Leo and Aries were nearly about to get into a fist fight.

"YOU ATE MY EGGO WAFFLES I LITERALLY WROTE MY NAME ON THE BOX!" Aries shouted at max volume.

"YOUR HANDWRITING IS ILLEGIBLE HOW WAS I MEANT TO KNOW WHAT THAT SAID!" Leo roared back.

This argument had been going on for nearly 15 minutes. It was all over Leo eating the last two chocolate chip Eggos even though Aries had called dibs.

All that yelling woke up the only person who could stop them. Sagittarius. From the end of the hallway a door slowly opening could be heard. Within moments both Leo and Aries looked down the hall in complete terror.

Sagittarius did not open doors slowly unless she was truly pissed. The way the hall was lit up made Sagittarius look like a final boss coming to absolutely destroy the players.

With each step she took down the hall her presence grew while Leo and Aries seemingly shrank to the size of an ant. Finally when she reached the kitchen where all the commotion was taking place she looked like the scariest nightmare of anyone's imagination. Her hair was in a giant tangled mess, her eyes were drooping from tiredness and she wore a scowl never seen before. She was wrapped in a blanket that was dragging across the floor like a cape.

She looked up at the two boys making eye contact with both and with a low growl, "What are you two arguing about," Neither of the two boys said a word. Just hung their head low in shame.

"I was slowly and peacefully trying to start my day, yet I couldn't. Do you know why?" This was not a question to be answered, "Because there's two morons in the kitchen screaming at eachother like feral muts." Her eyes were almost glowing red while scolding them.

"Sorry." Leo quietly squeaked out.

With the dirtiest look known to man Sagittarius glared at Leo. "Shut up, and go sit down." Leo immediately did as told. Sagittarius glared at Aries next. "You too." Aries followed suit as quick as Leo had.

"Now what I'm going to do, is get some cereal. Both of you will eat it nicely in silence while we all watch some TV. How does that sound?" Sagittarius said moving her arms out waiting for a response.

The two cowering boys on the couch nodded. Sagittarius got three bowls of cheerios and handed them out. The trio all sat quietly watching TV until everyone was done with their cereal.

Not long after they all got their supplies for school and headed out. When heading out they met up with the water and earth signs to head to home room.

The difference between the first and second year schedules was a lot. The first years had just regular classes for the full week while in the second year only on Monday they had main core classes. The rest of the week was dedicated to learning magic and powers.

"There is no way there is enough stuff about magic," Virgo was ranting putting magic in air quotes, "to learn about it for four days of the week eight hours a day."

"No maybe there's just a lot we haven't been told about. If Harry Potter could do it so could we." Pisces said nodding his head.

"Harry Potter was an asshole," Capricorn chimed in.

"Agreed," Taurus added on.

This started a short lived debate on the morals of Harry Potter before they got to their home room.

When they walked in they were greeted by a great surprise from a familiar face.

Their new homeroom teacher, Mr.Riclon.

I UPDATED AND ITS CHRISTMAS LETS GOOO. I wanted to update next when I had a face pic ready for some of the zodiacs Aries mainly as his would be first but I did not ever get around to it. Anyways enjoy your Christmas and Holidays everyone! :D
