For once in his life, Felix was the first to wake. His dull, sleep filled eyes blinked open a few times, blinded by the slither of light poking through a gap in the blinds of the living room. He stifled a yawn noticing everyone else was still in a deep sleep. He took comfort in the soft breathing of his friends, leaning his head back and sighing. He was quite shocked when something brushed against his skin. He looked down in a half awake way, thinking it to be a blanket. He soon realised he was staring at MJ's milky white arm, loosely wrapped around his neck.
He looked up at her completely exhausted figure, sprawled across the seat awkwardly and couldn't help but laugh quietly. She stirred, sniffing and changing position in her sleep, causing Felix to stiffen until she was comfortable again. Her and Ana were now practically spooning, the blonde clinging to her friends lap like a pillow.
Felix then realised that nature called so as softly as he could, he escaped MJ's grasp and went outside, refusing to use the bathroom upstairs.
It was twenty minutes later that MJ sprung awake, suddenly noticing the missing person. Her heart rate increased as she looked around to not find her friend anywhere.
"Ana?" She whispered, moving the hair out of the sleeping girls face.
"What?" She hissed, squeezing her eyes shut.
"Felix's gone"
Ana frowned and sat up, eyes adjusting to the dim light. She too had a quick glance around the room and gave the ginger a confused look, realising she was right.
"You didn't see him leave?"
MJ shook her head, biting her lip worry was settling in to the pit of her stomach.
"Should we go and look for him?" She ran a hand through her messy hair, sighing.
"No, he's a big boy, he can take care of himself" Ana shook her head.
"What's wrong?" Dylan mumbled, pushing himself up sleepily.
"Felix, he's disappeared and MJ wants to go look for him" Ana answered.
"I'm just worried, what if he gets into trouble and we aren't there" MJ twiddled her thumbs, head low.
"We'll look for him in and hour, we need to pack up and get ready for travelling" Dylan gave her a small smile before shakily getting up, slightly disturbing the cuddling Grace and Connor, who were clinging onto each other in their sleep.
"I guess" MJ returned the smile, slipping off the couch and into the kitchen to double check she'd taken everything she could.
Dylan and Ana walked around tidying up their things, mindlessly chatting and making comments on the sleeping couple on the floor. They didn't stop until the full room was tidier than before and they'd stuffed everything they could into their bags, even finding a backpack and filling that to the brim.
The pair were left standing at the foot of the makeshift bed on the ground, sighing at the teens still fast asleep.
"How are we gonna get them up?" Dylan sighed, running a hand through his messy hair.
"I'll get the water if you find the bucket" Ana grinned, and evil plan forming in her mind.
"That won't be necessary" grumbled a low voice. Connor sat up groggily, waking Grace who was cuddling into his chest in the process. She shoved herself off him, crumpling up her arms and yawning loud.
"What time is it?" She murmured, brushing the hair from her face.
"Late" Dylan replied, pulling the blanket from the pair and stuffing in his the large backpack "now please get up, MJ's a nervous wreck".
