Noah's POV
bang, bang, bang
there was a pounding in my head, no there was a pounding but it was outside my head. I opened my eyes and sat up, realizing that I was still in my bunk. I reached over to my phone and looked at the time. Five freaking Thirty! Someone was going to get it!
I stood up and walked purposefully to the door which was still being beaten down by the force of whoever was nocking. I opened it sharply letting a slightly groggy Tristan fall into the room. "What the hell are you doing banging on my door at five in the morning!" I shout giving one of my famous death glares.
"Hey it wasn't my idea, Luke made me do it ok." He whimpered as he paced up and down, apparently afraid of coming too close to me. Good move! I stormed out of my room completely forgetting that Elliot was still fast asleep in his bunk. That guy could sleep through a nuclear war if he had to.
I came into the kitchen to see Dean and Luke having breakfast their bags already packed and piled up by the door. I glared at them both and it was Dean who finished first swallowing a mouthful of cornflakes.
"We decided to leave as early as possible, then we would be able to stake out the area before we checked into our hotel." I rolled my eyes, not like I didn't understand their reasoning but I was particularly angry that they hadn't told me about it.
"Fine, next time don't send Tristan to wake me up or we will need a new team member. I stalk back to my room passing a nervous Tristan on my way. By now Elliot is up and dressed, hardly feeling the effects of the early wake up call. Lucky!
--------
When we had all packed and eaten we headed directly to the parking lot where we loaded our bags into the back and set off. It wasn't too far to the part of the city where we were to stay but we took some of the most obscure backroads I had ever seen.
Eventually we all decided to stop in a café about ten minutes form our hotel none of us having much of an apatite we all just stared at the passing civilians who came in and out of the shop. Dean and Tristan were animatedly talking about a new issue of gun that was apparently top of the range, what a surprise. Elliot was reading into our mission report that Apollo had given up sitting as far away from us as possible, whilst me and Luke just sat there not really knowing what to do.
Luke finally got bored of Tristan and Dean's bickering and went over to the counter to watch the game that was currently being shown on the huge screen hanging on the wall. With nothing else to do I got up and wandered around the shop, noticing a free booth looking out onto the street I slipped into it quickly glad of the privacy of the huge cushioned seats.
"Hey what do you think your doing?" I looked up, apparently this booth wasn't empty!
Sitting across from me was a girl no older than me (19) with short black hair cut into a bob that was tucked neatly behind both ears. Her eyes were a deep blue that seemed to swallow me up as I looked at her. Her clothes were average in comparison, a blue hoodie with her hood drawn close, and blue jeans to match. I then noticed that she was still staring at me apparently she had asked me something but I hadn't really been listening.
"Sorry, what did you say?" I asked trying to be as polite as possible. She seemed to be having none of it and mad a move to get up but then she decided against it for some reason and sat back down hurriedly re opening her book that I hadn't even noticed she had.
"Unbelievable," she grumbled glancing behind her now and then, she seemed to have forgotten me all together. I cleared my throat and her head whipped round to look at me.
