CHAPTER 3

After Mike Discovers he had some kind of Powers, he then continued researching about his unknown powers.While he was researching,He was called by his mom in an Angry voice."Mike! Come down here Now!" His Mom said"."Alright mom fine Im going down,jeez whats with that tone" Mike said.When he goes down the stairs, he there sees his mom looking angrily. "Look at the Dishes, Look at the Trash Why didnt you took care of it huh? Whats wrong with you? Im tired from going 9am to 8pm job and this is what i"'ll see? His Mom said. "Mom Please i got tired from school too.Dont you think i wont take care of those? I also need rest mom, not only you has the right to rest!" Mike said.His mom then slaps Mike and said "You dont know how i go through everytime i go to my job!, you dont know how hard my situation there! and all i wanted is when i go home, the whole place is clean! Thats the only thing that makes me relief from my job and you didnt do it!.Huh maybe thats because you dont know what it feels like to be in the same shoes as i do.You know what, you're grounded, In a month!" Mike's Mom said." Fine! Mom! This whole thing is such a big deal for you.Maybe thats why Dad Probably left us, because of you"Mike Said. And thats where Mike's mom got really angry."What did you just say?" Mike"s Mom then slapped Mike Again. "GO TO YOUR ROOM YOU ARE GROUNDED."Mike's Mom Added.Instead of going to his room, Mike runs outside. It was a rainy night and Mike Was in the woods running. He then accidentally stubs his toe in a rock and he then falls. Mike was very frustated. He thought of the argument earlier, his weird unknown powers and his father.He then couldnt take anymore.He feels Hopeless, he feels anger and it made his powers inside him awake more. He then finally looses it and he shouted "I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! IM SICK OF THIS. IF ONLY DAD WAS ALIVE I PROBABLY WOULDN'T FEEL LIKE THIS. ARGGGH!!! " And all the trees around him had been obliterated into pieces. Mike was shocked on what happened. He was speechless as he looks at his surroundings, it looks like as if a hurricane just past through him. Still shocked on what Happened, he realized something. The way his power is awakened is by through uncontrollable thoughts. Whenever he feels Anger, dissapointment or even sadness his powers just goes all out. "What the hell just happened? This must be a dream this must be a very bad dream there's no way i did all this". He was both confused at the same time. "So maybe thats how i activate my weird powers, whenever im pissed or somethings, it just happens. That is weird, i gotta go back home". Mike then started walking on his way home. While walking on his way home, he then sees a car and it stops in front of him.He then sees Annie Miller in the car driving. "Hey, you're Mike Right?" Annie said. "Yeah i remember you, you're Annie Right?" Mike said. "Yes, from physics class right?" Annie replied. "Yeah haha, i gotta get to home before my mom kicks my ass" Mike said. "Come on hop in i can take you to your house!" Annie said "Nah thank you im good".Mike said. "Oh come on get in dont be shy! I wanna get to know more about you! Annie said." Welp, okay then but is it okay if im this wet? "Mike replied." Im perfectly fine with it! Now Hop in". Annie Replied. When they are on their way home, they got to know each other. "So, why are you alone and wet tonight" Annie asked. "Well i just sorted things out" Mike said. "And what are those stuff? Annie replied." Well, me and my mom got into some misunderstanding then i kind of ran away". "oh i see" Annie Replied. "How about you, why are driving alone at this time?". Mike asked. "oh i just bought some stuff on my own."Annie said." On your own?, mind if i ask where are your parents? Mike asked. "Well my mom and dad split up since i was a kid and ive been living with my dad since. My dad's been sick lately so sometimes i go out at night to get some food and medicines." Annie Said. "How about you Mike? How's your parents?" Annie Added. "Oh my parents? Well its a pretty long story but ill keep it short for you. My Father dissapeared since then and i still dont know what really Happened to him and whenever i ask my Mom about Dad, she always ignore it and sometimes we fight over about it. I always wonder what my dad looked like if he was still with us.I really wish he was still here, he could have thought me new things and stuff like that. Dang i dont wanna be emotional right now haha" Mike said. "Its fine, actually this is nice you know, we get to know each other and we get to explore stuff" Annie said. "Yeah haha. Its nice to meet a person like you, you know listening to each other's stories and stuff, Oh hey we're here" Mike said. "Oh okay" Annie said. "Thanks for the lift. See you tommorow?" Mike said. "Sure! See you tommorow in class, and dont go out on a rainy night again alright?" Annie said. "Yeah i wont promise" Mike said. "Alright, nice to meet you Mike!" Annie replied. Mike then says goodbye to Annie and see her drive off. He was happy because he met a girl like her. "Dang i kinda like her now. I hope i get to know her more" And he walked to his house with a smile on his face. When opened the door he saw his Mom waiting for him. "Why did you run away huh? I was worried about you! I dont know what will happen if something bad happened to you, Are you crazy?" Her Mom said. "Can we please talk about this tommorow mom, im tired of all these arguments".And Mike walked upstairs to his room. He saw all of his stuff in his room is messy so he cleaned it up a bit. While he was cleaning his room, the boxes on his shelf fell. "Ugh unbelievable" Mike said. While he was picking up the stuff from his box, he found a key. It was labeled "Basement Key". He always wanted to see what's in that basement since then, "Basement key?, i never knew the basement had a key. Ive always wanted to know what's down there. Nah maybe its just some old stuff down there. I'll still check it out though" Mike said. And on that day, he found a key to the place he have been waiting to find out. What will Mike Find there? Will he find some interesting stuff down there? Or will he just expect some smoke and Mirrors?
