Movie dates pt. 1

EMILY P.O.V

I sat outside at the front of the school. I was upset but come on I guess I'm kinda over reacting right? It's not like we were dating or something. I got up and decided to go and finish the rest of this day off. I walked in and nobody was there so I grabbed my books and headed to class.

As I approached my first period class the bell rung and every one piled out including Kim. "Emily are you ok you look like you were crying?" She said concerned. "I'll be fine." I said "but hey guess who's going on a date." I said not sounding so happy about it. "From the tone in your voice it's obviously not with jerry so who is it?" She said as we walked down the hallway. "Smooth...." I said looking down. Kim all of a sudden stopped.

"Like smooth the one jerry hates?" She said emphasizing the word hates. "No some other guy named smooth who likes me." I said sarcastically. "Of course it's the smooth jerry hates!" I said sighing. "Well than this calls for a mall emergency." Kim said grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the school.

"What about my bag?!" I said looking back at the school. "Just text Jack and tell him to bring it to the dojo after school." She said as we walked. I pulled out my phone.

To: womb buddy
Hey do me a favour and bring mine and Kim's backpack to the dojo after school?

From: womb buddy
What's in it for me?

To: womb buddy
Really Jack? Your gonna be that guy.

From: womb buddy
Im kidding relax they will be there when you two get to the dojo ok I've gotta go now cause some of us don't skip class.....

To: womb buddy
Thanks bro and it's not my fault I was dragged

I put my phone back in my pocket and me and Kim made it to the mall. "Ok so we're is this date gonna be?" Kim said raising her eyebrows. "The movies" I said about to walk into a store with plaid shirts hanging on the wall. "Oh no I don't think so Emily, if your going on a date your gonna look the part." She said dragging me into a store Filled with dresses.

It had been about two hours and Kim picked me out a a strapless white dress with gold belt that clung to my body, a light blue jacket that went just over my elbows and a pearl necklace that was perfectly placed onto my neck. All we needed now we're some shoes.

We were searching through piles of shoes when Kim asked me a question. "Emily I'm not trying to offend you or anything but why smooth. You could have so many guys at our school and you pick smooth. Don't get me wrong he is pretty popular and a lot of girls seem to like him but he just doesn't seem like your type." She was right.

"Kim did I mention at all that this was a double date?" I said half way smiling. "What! No! Who else is going?!" She said practically freaking out "oh um just Claire and well jerry...." I said his name in barely a whisper. "Oh ok now I know why your going." She said smirking at me. I just sat there hoping I didn't blush. " I just don't get it though" she said. "Get what?" I looked at her confused. "Why he be going with Claire, he hates that girl she's been trying to get him for years but he's just not interested." That made me mad. "Oh so your telling me that he just goes around making out with every girl he hates!"

I covered my mouth right after I said that. "Oh my god you are so jealous of Claire kissing jerry!!" Kim said dropping the shoe in her hand. "Am not!" I said throwing a shoe at Kim. "Are to!" She said and threw a Pair at me. They were Cream coloured wedges with black straps. "I'm gonna go pay for these ones" I said walking to the cash.

I payed for the shoes and we left the mall. We dropped by the dojo to pick up our back packs before going back to my place. Luckily nobody was there so there was no one to question were we'd been all day.

It was around 8 and Kim had already left my house. I was waiting for smooth to pick me up. There was a knock at the door. Even though I didn't like smooth I was still nervous. This was my first actual date. I took one last look in the mirror, took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. But it wasn't smooth!
