movie dates pt. 2

EMILY P.O.V

It was around 8 and Kim had already left my house. I was waiting for smooth to pick me up. There was a knock at the door. Even though I didn't like smooth I was still nervous. This was my first actual date. I took one last look in the mirror, took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. But it wasn't smooth!

I starred into his deep brown eyes which were filled with mixed emotions. "Jerry you do know im smooths date right?" I said even though i knew what he was about to say. "I know, but smooth sent me here to tell you he's got a better date for tonight." those words hurt. I knew i was never anyone's first choice.

"Emily we really need to talk." He said scratching the back of his neck. "Jerry im not really in the mood to-." "Please." He said taking my hand in his as he cut me off.

"Fine what do you want?" I said as i closed the door and stepped outside with him. "I know you think that im into Claire, but you need to know that im not and never will be." I rolled my eyes. "Then why were you sucking her face when i walked into the school?" "Emily its not what you think" he said. "Claire came onto me just before you came in you didn't see me push her off either because you ran off."

Crap what had i just done. "Jerry im sorry i didn't-" he cut me off. "Its okay if i saw some guy kissing you id probably get really pissed too." We both laughed.

" so about that movie date" he held out his arm "shall we" "we shall" i said. I took his arm as we walked down to his car." He held open my door for me as i got in "When did you become such a gentleman Martinez?" i said after getting into the car. He went around to his side abd hoped in. "The day i met you Brewer." I could just feel my face heating up.

~20 minutes later~

"Jerry we've been driving for 20 minutes, we arnt going to the movie theater are we." I said looking out the window. "Nope i got something better in mind." I just sighed and smiled. What am i gonna do with him.

As soon as jerry stopped i knew where we were. It couldn't be more familiar considering its the first place were jerry kissed me on the cheek. Set up was a little picnic table and these yellow lantern type lights making it look magical. When we got out of the car Jerry went and pulled out a picnic basket from the trunk.

"It's beautiful" I said in aw "but wait why did you set this up knowing I was going on a date with smooth? He clearly didn't tell you with enough time to set this all up." "Smooth may or may not be showing up at the wrong house tonight and that house may or may not be Claire's...." Jerry said with humour underlying his voice. "Jerry!" I said laughing " that's so bad."

Claire hate- No she despises Smooth with a burning passion. When he's around her she can't handle the things that come from her mouth. Man that girl may have gone to one of the most prestigious schools in seaford but man did she have a truckers mouth when mad. I must say I would have loved to have seen the look on her face when she opened the door to find Smooth and not Jerry standing at her door.

Jerry and I walk over to the picnic table and sat down across from each other.

Once we were seated jerry pulled out two bags from McDonald's. "It's not gourme but I never said I was I chef." He said smiling. " Jerry it's great really" I said reassuring him.

After we were finished our food jerry pulled out a speaker. When he turned it on one of my favorite songs began to play. " May I have this dance" he said as the "I can't help falling in love with you" cover by Tøp filled the sound. "Yes you may" I said taking his hand.

He glided me around the area spinning me around and holding me close.

It was the last verse of the song and jerry and I were just swaying side to side. I had my arms around his neck while my head layer on his chest. His massive arms wrapping around me.

"Emily?" he said looking down at me. "Yes" I replied. "I just have to tell you I can't help falling in love with you" he wispered into my ear. I looked up at the goofy grin that was now planted on his face. "That was the cheesest thing you've ever said to me." I said getting even closer to him. "I know" he said closing the gap between us. My heart was beating fast and my knees went weak underneath me. "Be careful princess, wouldn't want you to literally fall for me" he said scooping me up bridal style to the car. This was gonna be the beginning of an amazing relationship.

(AN: Hey guys sorry for like never updating I just thought no one liked this book anymore and it turns out I was wrong about that. Even though kicking it is over I will still try to udate.
