Chapter 5: Friends? Already? Wow

(Cecelia's Pov)

After last night's class of Astronomy class, I was so into the class and information that I didn't get much sleep which isn't rare because I normally spend all night ice skatin anyways which I need to figure out where I can ice skate but that can wait until tomorrow.

The next day, I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shinin through the dorm windows. I sighed and groaned as I felt really tired but some breakfast and coffee should do the trick to get me through the day.

Plus, today Cedric is introducin me to a few people he thinks I'll get along with and I'm very nervous for that...I just hope they like me...I don't know how to make friends and I never learned how cause all I had was Cedric so why bother?

Anyways, I sighed and groaned as I hopped out of bed stretchin and yawin. Most of the girls were already up and dressed and headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast. I sighed as I hopped out of my pj's and into my school uniform. I brushed my bedhead hair, put on a beanie, slid on my boots, grabbed my books and headed out of my dorms and to the common room.

I saw Cedric waitin for me which made me smile as he looked at me and frowned a bit "didn't sleep well I assume?" he asked, I just nodded and rubbed my eyes "too busy bein fascinatin by Astronomy class" I said with a tired giggle. Cedric chuckled and put a hand on my head "Well some breakfast should get ya through the day" he said, I just nodded as we headed out of the common room and to the Great Hall for breakfast.

When we got there, we found our seats and started to get food and coffee for breakfast. We heard the owls fly in for daily mail which made me smile as everyone looked up to see their owls deliverin mail. I looked around and saw Snowflake which made me smile as she dropped a letter for me from mum I assume and stayed on my shoulder.

I giggled and smiled as I rubbed her belly "Thank you" I said and put the letter in my robe for later "What's that?" Ced asked, "Letter from mum" I said, Ced smiled softly and nodded, "I'll introduce you to some people I know you'll get along with durin lunch okay?" he asked,

I smiled nervously and nodded which made Ced smile softly as he put his hand ontop of mine "Hey. You're gonna be okay sis. They're great people and you'll get along with them just fine" he said, I just nodded "How many are there?" I asked, he thought for a moment "6 people but that's because 4 of them are brother and sister but there's 2 girls so you should get along well with them at least" he said, I smiled shyly and nodded as I sipped my coffee and finished up breakfast for today.

After breakfast, Snowflake flew back to my room as we all got up and headed to our classes which I love learnin somethin new everyday. I tend to be more focused on class than anyone else because I never got bored and I was so engaged in the topic. In Charms we learned Colloportus and Alohomora which opens and locks doors.

In Defense Against the Dark Arts, we got to spar against one another to learn disarmin and protection spells. In Flyin we got to play Quidditch which I was Seeker but it was hard and my team ended up losin...Quidditch isn't my thing...Ice Skatin is...I wish that was a class ☹

(LUNCH)

It was finally lunchtime which made my stomach churn anxiously, Cedric calmed me down though which was sweet of him...I just never had friends before so I don't know what to do and I don't wanna sound dumb or say anything wrong...I just hate messin up...and it's not like ice skatin I can't just keep gettin up and practicin...people aren't skates or the ice...they're people...

Anyways when me and Ced got to the Great Hall. He told me to wait by our table as he went to get people which made me nod as he went to the Gryffindor table and brought over a group of people. I fiddled with my fingers anxiously as him along with the people walked over to me "Everyone I'd like you to meet my little sister Cecelia Diggory. Cecelia meet Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron, Fred, George and Ginny Weasley" He said introducing me to everyone.
