levi's squad's death

Gunter's POV*

as we see the retreat flare singals in the sky I relaxed as I realized that we survived this extremely dangerous expedition. I smile at the others which they smiled back at me.

"I guess we survived" I say laughing lightly and the others relax at my remark. I gather my 3DMG gear and throw out the two swords and the others did the same. But Levi walked over to us and stood against a tree in his usual posture.

"I will be back I have some things to do but I will send a green signal flare to where I am and one of you send one as well so I can join up with you all. Also Eld is in charge but if anything happens take care of Eren." Levi says in his bored but stern voice, we all nod and Levi shots off into the distance.

" let's go everyone, the mission isn't finished yet" Eld says while shorting upwards. I immediately do the same as Eld and we wait for Eren and the others to join us. As soon as they join us we set off in the direction of the base.

"Eren you did a good job today" I say looking at Eren.

"But Gunter I didn't do anything though"  He says looking back at me.

"Yes you did Eren, you trusted us and that's a big step in the squad for you" Petra says softly and smiles at him.

"I guess your right, but still that's not really doing anything." Eren says looking forward into the distance. As time went on their was alot of silence but something crawled into my mind.

"Where is Levi? Shouldnt he of shot a flare by now?" I say worryingly but strangely straight after I said that a green flare is spotted in the sky.

"Their is your answer Gunter" Oluo says trying to sound like Levi which makes me cringe of how bad it is. I grin and grab my flare and I shot it into the sky waiting for Levi to come over. Moments later I could see a small figure heading towards us. As it got closer I noticed something was wrong. That wasn't Levi.

"Guys that is not Levi! That's someon-" as I was about to finish my sentence the figure closed around me and the person cut my 3DMG gear which resulted me flying with no control. I knew it. This is what death feels like. No I can't think like that I have to have faith.  As I tried to do something I felt an awful pain coming from my head was sent though my whole body. The pain grew and grew but I couldn't move I just hang by one wire of my 3DMG gear and death grew closer and closer to me.

Finally my vision became black but I remember hearing Eren shout my name which I wanted to shout back at him but my tongue couldn't move.

I woke up to a bright light surrounding me. Where am I? I stood up walking around being clueless but then it struck me, I did die didn't I? Pain struck though me with thoughts I'm in heaven aren't I? Wait petra , Eld, Oluo, Eren and Levi! I... I can't see them anymore!

As I realized what has happened I fell to my knees with my hands over my face. I couldn't take it anymore.... All of my emotions spilled out and I was crying but all of a sudden I felt a tap on my shoulder I looked up and saw..........

Eld's POV*

As Gunter fell to his death the figure moved from Gunter to towards us.

"GUNTER!" Eren screams as he stands in front of Gunter's body.

"EREN WE NEED TO GO TO BASE NOW!" I shout at Eren. Eren turns around and looks at me with anger in his eyes.

"So are we just going to leave him?!" Eren shouted which made anger boil up inside me. I furrow my eyebrows and look forward.
